HELP!!

I am currently going crazy trying to remember the title and author of a book I read. I am hoping someone can help with this brief description. The main characters meet in High School. He is the great grandson of a country music legend and she is from a trailer park. They fall in love and to make a long story short he winds up living with the school bully who is also the girls tormentor. She winds up breaking up with him and he goes on to become a country music star and she a teacher. Years later they meet at a concert of his and reconnect. They wind up falling in love and marrying in the end. His best friend also happens to be her childhood best friend and also the one who helped her through the heart break of their breakup. The next book was to be about the best friend, who has secretly been in love with the girl his whole life, and how he has to now figure out how to move on without the hope of her ever loving him back. I have searched all day for this and it is driving me crazy! Thanks in advance for your help.
