Up to ch6. This is a bit more than unexpected birthday gift. Makes me laugh how such incredible news is not given more of a totally losing it reaction.

Up to ch9. Magnus’s lack of awareness about his situation is a bit of a Riordan trademark, but the humour and pacing is great.

Ch20 (view spoiler)[I have to say, when pretty much every media form you’ve seen has Loki as either the bad guy or guys a bit of an ass as the trickster character it’s hard to know whether or not to trust him in the present media XD I mean, he seems like a good (or at least... not bad) character in this novel so far but I could be WAY wrong!

I am very curious as to what potential powers Magnus has inherited from his father though... appears to have quicker healing and maybe magic but it’s a bit uncertain at this stage. If Percy is anything to go by though he should’ve inherited something!

I gotta say though... I do not know anything about Norse mythology beyond the basics so I’m not really sure what to think of the gods so far XD (hide spoiler)]
