Dae Daemon lay in the meadow, enjoying the warm sun on his face. His arms were folded and tucked under his head, one of his knees bent the other leg sticking straight out. The grass was soft and the sun was warm, and the gent sounds of the lake nearby were enough to lull him into a light sleep, the breeze blowing his hair into his eyes, but he didn't have the energy to brush it away, his breathing beginning to ease as he started to drift off, yawning softly and rolling onto his side to get some warmth on it.

Sυммer Rαιɴ || Wrιтιɴɢ ιѕ α cαllιɴɢ, ɴoт α cнoιce. (summerrain15) Shiki hadn't wanted to go directly to the academy. His first day, and yet he'd skipped his first class. It wasn't a fighting class so he hadn't particularly cared. Instead, he'd ventured into the woods in search of something to slay. The legendary woods of Yokai have been disappointing thus far. He thought vaguely as the morning grew later. It was then that he came to the meadow. The human swordsman stepped out from the dark cover of the woods onto the soft grass, his combat boots flattening flowers as he did so. Shiki's red eyes seemed to get darker when in the light, even though they shone so bright in the dark. Sunlight bounced off his black hair, which shone until it looked almost midnight blue. His pale skin seemed ghost white as he stepped further into the meadow, his tight leather clothes crinkling as he walked.

However, it didn't take him long to sense Daemon's presence, stopping where he stood. Hmm... A demon. I'd heard they attended Yokai. Perhaps I've finally come across someone worthy to beat. Shiki could feel the power radiating from Daemon, even half asleep. He respected it. It would be an honor to beat someone like Daemon Tenebris.

"Hey. You." Shiki called, his drawling British tones with hints of Japanese standing out. His voice was clear, direct, not any hesitation or signs of stammer. Red eyes on the handsome man laying in the grass, he took hold of his sword's sheath, using his thumb on the hilt to push his sword up. His other hand took hold of the dark hilt, sliding it from its sheath with that telltale sound. "Fight me." It was a command, so abrupt. No need for small talk. It'd only waste his time. He didn't even need to know Daemon's name to beat him.

Dae He scowled slightly as he was woken rather rudely by some stranger, rolling onto his stomach and resting his forehead on his folded arms, snarling softly, more to himself than anyone. "Howabout no." He snapped, trying to go back to sleep. Warming in the sun had made him lazy, and now here he was, stretching himself out more like a pleased cat, wanting nothing to do with anything that required movement. He didn't even bother to look at his challenger, because he didn't plan on taking up the challenge, anyway.
