I'm nearly half way through, and as much as I like it, I don't like it as much as Hunger Games...but maybe it's just because I haven't been reading straight out, but rather just picking it up and putting it down whenever..
I've actually never listened to an audiobook. I think im scared that the voice will ruin it for me...are they worth listening to do you think??
Jo wrote: "I am reading Stardust . The way its written makes me not want to put it down."Let me know how it finally turns out.
Zainab, you should try ausio books, I love having them read to me, most stories are read by good actors and actresses and some are excellent at different voices etc. I love Stephen Fry, Martin Shaw, Alan Titchmarsh, Richard E Grant and Andrew Sacs reading to me but there are many others too. Stephen King is a wxcellent reader and Frank Muller who reads S K's books too.
Just finished the marvellous Keeping the Dead - Tess Gerritsen. Will now read Genesis - Karin Slaughter.
I just started Dead to the World. It is my first Sookie Stackhouse book. I've heard so much about them that I had to check it out.

I've read the other three books that came before this one and have loved all of them. I've been listening to them on audiobook and Christopher Timothy is the reader...he's so good. I plan on buying this book series.

I read them over 20 years ago and loved them!
I am listening to The Sweet Far Thing audiobook right now. I liked Rebel Angels better than A Great and Terrible Beauty. I'm hoping this last book will answer all my questions with the series and so far I haven't been disappointed.
Jennifer - I found that the characters weren't AS annoying. :) I like learning more about the Order and the Realms also.
Decided to get Karin Slaughter's Genesis on audio in the nxt week or so. I am now gonna read Gravity - Tess Gerritsen

Lily has what looks like the perfect life: a fabulous day job at a fashion magazine; a killer figure she can literally never lose; and a great group of girlfriends who are always there for her. Oh, and she also just-so-happens to be a succubus: an immortal demon who draws her power from other men's pleasure. Although working for the Devil does have it's perks, Lily's realising that serving up bad boys to the fiery pits of Hell is just getting ...well, lonely. Just once, Lily would like to wake up in the morning to something more than a pile of ashes but, contractually bound to Satan, she will only be released if someone truly loves her. Then the devilishly handsome PI Nathan Coleman enters her life and Lily begins to wonder if he might be the man she's been waiting for. He wants to ask Lily a few questions about a missing man, but suddenly someone - or something - wants Lily and her demon friends dead, and Nathan seems to know more than he'll admit to. Can a sweet-talking mortal and a girl from Hell ever really find true love?
