Chris...I just ordered Wizard's First Rule from paperbackswap.

My view was also echoed by the members of my offline book club.

Oh good....I ordered it on audio since it is a whopper!! I'm really glad to hear you're enjoying it!

Prior to this, I'd read her Kate Daniels series, which is more urban fantasy & was pretty good. In both cases, I really liked the neat world she created. The Edge is a border land between the Weird (magic land) & the Broken (our mundane world). Rose lives in the Edge, makes her living in the Broken & fears those of the Weird with good cause.
If you like this genre, I'd highly recommend checking her books out. While the latest was a romance, I appreciated that the sex wasn't graphic & the romance wasn't over done.

Norwegian Wood is the first Haruki Murakami book that I've read. I was so impressed and am looking forward to reading some more by him. Have you read anything else of his?
