Scout and ChyChy

Ajax looked at the screen again, also waiting for an image to pop up. The doctor moved the ultrasound wand around a little before pressing a few buttons on the machine. It then turned on. Instead of grey and black, the image was black and a gold/orange colour. At first the image was just random, most likely the inside of Ajax's stomach. But then the baby came into view. The image was also lagging a bit, but it was still visible. The doctor stilled the wand so they could see. The baby was moving ever so slightly, and it was also clear that they were sucking their thumb.
"Oh my god." Ajax breathed. "They have your nose." She whispered. Facial features were visible, even though the head looked slightly large, like an alien.

Ajax giggled when he commented about his nose, then she raised her eyebrows when he said 'she.' She didn't think much of it, assuming it was a natural slip of the tongue. You can only call a baby an "it" or "them" for so long. Ajax looked back at the screen, smiling softly at the image of their baby. She was looking forward to see the changes in the future.
Dr. Kent moved the thing around which changed the image. "Hm, well it looks like the father is right; she's a girl." She smiled. "Congratulations."
Ajax gasped again. "A girl? Oh my god.. We're having a little girl." She started to cry happily , pulling on Scott's hand.

Ajax couldn't really sit up from where she was, or at least comfortably so she let Scott lean gown to her. She did raise her head though and meet his lips, kissing him every so sweetly while placing her hand on his cheek. She wanted to sit up fully and wrap her arms around his neck, but she did still have that jelly stuff on her tummy and didn't want to get any on him. They could do a lot of that soon anyways. Once the kiss broke, she smiled through her tears. "I love you so much." She said softly, relaxing back down on the chair. She could tell by the look in his eyes that he was thinking of her to, their little girl. Ajax didn't care what gender their baby was either, but if she had to pick one that suited them both the best, it was a girl. Scott was just so kind and gentle and it was onvious he'd take good care of his daughter. "She's going to be a daddy's girl for sure." She giggled once her crying subsided some. Dr. Kent wiped the jelly off Ajax's stomach. "Since we're here id just like to briefly check how you're doing down there." She said "it'll only take a moment but I'll need you to take you bottoms off please."
Ajax wiped her face and nodded. Her makeup was no doubt ruined, but she didn't care.
((I was also thinking since you mentioned how there would be trouble after the birth that she also a lengthy and somewhat complicated labour ))

Ajax smiled up at him and fixed her shirt before siting up with a soft grunt. She let go of his hand for a second to wipe her fingers under her eyes but have it back to him just for him to kiss it.
"I'll go pay the bill. I'll be outside. Congratulations you two." Marie hugged Scott from the side then leaned down and hugged Ajax before leaving the room.
Dr. Kent sat down in her swivel chair and scribbled on some paper for a moment before addressing them both. "So, just to inform you, your baby is about five inches long and weighs about three ounces. You have also entered your second trimester, so the nausea should ease away soon. Your baby can move now, but you probably won't feel it until a few more weeks because she's so small. Also, she can now hear, so she'll recognize your voices I'm sure." She smiled. "Oh and one last thing before you go." She wheeled over to the small table, opened the drawer and pulled out a pink Beanie Baby toy. "Your baby is about this size." She handed the stuffed toy to Ajax. "Your pictures will be with the receptionist where you can book your next appointment." She smiled, standing up.

While Dr. Kent explained the details, Ajax listened as she collected herself, shrugging on her coat and zipping it up. And when she presented the Beanie Baby, her eyes widened and she held it in her hands, much like she held her little Jon Snow on her birthday. She smiled at Scott when he commented about how tiny their daughter was. "Yeah...it's amazing that she'll get even bigger." She murmured, studying the Beanie Baby as if she's never seen it before. Seeing her belly grow for the next five months and hearing what object their baby was the size of made Ajax's heart flutter with excitement. Ajax zoned back in when Scott thanked the doctor. She stood up, still holding the beanie baby in one hand as she took Scott's with the other. "Yes thank you. We'll see you next month." She smiled.
She nodded. "I'm looking forward to it. Let me know if ever need anything or have any questions."

Dr. Kent laughed and shook her head amusingly as she packed up her things. "I thought Ajax would ask me that; not you." She smirked.
Ajax giggled at the both of them and raised an eyebrow at Scott when he made her give herself half a hug. She leaned against him when he kissed her head, smiling softly. "Yeah, I am." She nodded. "See you!" She waved to her awesome doctor and together they walked out of the room. Ajax still held the stuffed toy, intending on never letting it go any time soon.
Marie walked up to them with a warm smile. "I have your photos here," she held up an envelop. "And you're scheduled for the 12th of next month."
"Thank you mom." Ajax smiled.

Ajax laughed when he brought up cheeseburgers again. She wanted to tease him about how she was the one who was pregnant and not him, but then she remembered that he didn't eat lunch earlier today. She however did; she ate an entire sleeve of Oreos herself and a sandwich her mom made that was filled with healthy food that would help the baby. It was still good though at least. She was hungry to, but when she thought about eating McDonald's again, her stomach quivered. She didn't know why; she loved McDonalds every now and then. Ajax frowned, looking at Scott. "I..I have a feeling I won't be able to stomach McDonald's today..." She trailed off, sighing softly. "I'm kind of in the mood for something more healthy." She hugged Scott's arm.
((Work time; go to sleep! Lol))

Ajax considered Scott's other options, nodding. Subway sounded a lot better than a greasy burger. However, that might be all she wants tomorrow or sometime in the future. Pregnancy was weird. She smiled though when he offered to make something healthy for them at his place. "Okay." SHe nodded, giggling when he kissed the top of her head. "Sounds good." By this time they were already at her mother's car. Ajax shimmied into the backseat, sitting in the middle this time so she could be closer to Scott, obviously.

Ajax buckled up the held his hand, resting her head back against the seat. "And I love you." She echoed, then pecked his cheek. As her mother drove, Ajax randomly felt super tired. She rested her head against his shoulder and let out a cute yawn. She held the little beanie baby against her stomach in her lap and imagined it was their daughter, but of course bigger. Thinking about holding her soon was a little difficult, because they didn't know much about her just yet, other than her size. Would she have her dark blonde hair, or Scott's brown? Her stomach fluttered with excitement as she let her mind wander, and before she knew it, she fell asleep.

Ajax wanted to dream of their daughter and the life she would have, growing up year by year, and introducing her to the world around them. She did dream of this for a little while, but then her dream was no longer in her control once she was fully asleep. Nothing really popped into her mind other than Scott who she could still feel nuzzled up next to her. She was sleeping peacefully until her mother turned into the driveway, jerking the car. Ajax blinked awake and yawned, rubbing her eyes cutely.

Ajax blushed and giggled, nodding. "Yeah." She said cutely, holding the bear in her other hand while she still held his with her other. She climbed out when he tugged on her hand. "I'll see you tomorrow mom." She waved as she walked up to Scott's truck.
"See you!" She smiled and went into the house.

Ajax buckled up and rested head against the window as they drove, not falling asleep this time, which was difficult since he was tracing those hypnotizing patterns on her knee. But they arrived at his house before they knew it, and she held onto his as he carried her inside, giggling. "Do I still have my clothes here? Or some?" She asked.

Ajax nodded, thinking about what clothes she actually had there. She could think of at least a pair of track pants and a tank top. She smiled when he kissed her forehead and placed her feet on the ground, nodding. "Kay." She smiled, and closed the door once he was gone and did her thing.

When she was done, Ajax washed her hands and took the beanie baby out with her into the hallway, then the kitchen. "Yay salad!" She exclaimed, then laughed. She found an open space on the counter and hopped up with a grunt, sitting down in it with her legs dangling. "So are we going to tell your mom the news?" She asked. "I was thinking we could show her the pictures then be like: 'here's your granddaughter' and see if she notices." She grinned like it was the best idea in the world.

Ajax nodded, lightly swinging her legs back and forth as she patiently waited for him to finish making their dinner. She wondered briefly what it'd be like if she had a sibling to live with. Oh well( it didn't really matter to her all that much. Scott was all she really needed. "Oh, um can I have Caesar instead of ranch?" She asked, blushing cutely and hopped off the counter. She opened the cutlery drawer and grabbed two forks for them.

Ajax took her bowl of salad and scoffed playfully when he called her that. "Miss Mama? You mean hot mama." She smirked, and walked to the stairs. As she climbed up the stairs, she teasingly swayed her hips from side to side. She was glad to wore leggings today.

Ajax gasped dramatically when he mentioned about his hands being full. "How dare you!" She exclaimed, looking back at him with a grin. "I am a lady for goodness sake." She giggled and squealed when he nudged her. "Alright alright!" She laughed and sped walk to him room, letting herself in.

Ajax walked into his room and over to his bed, but didn't sit down. She turned to face him as he took the forks from her and sat everything down. She raised her eyebrows at him, but then grinned when he pulled her close, his hands travelling farther south than they usually did. "Poor you." She murmured teasingly as she loosely wrapped her arms around his neck. She didn't eagerly kiss him when he teased her, instead teasing back. But when their lips finally met she put her all into the kiss, the excitement and joy of finding out that they were having a girl from the appointment into it. When the kiss broke naturally, she sighed softly, with content. "I know you'll take good care of your girls." She smiled sweetly.

Ajax's heart leaped when he touched her bump, which happened every time. Now that they were both aware that she was carrying a precious life, and we're accepting of it, it felt so much more real to Ajax now. She laughed when he called her hot, then giggled happily as he went on. By the end, her eyes were damp. "I know." She whispered, sliding her hands slowly down his chest. "I'll have to get used to you loving her more than me." She pouted cutely, only teasing.

As he spoke, Ajax's breath was taken away. Her lips parted slightly, as if in awe, which she sort of was. He's complimented her many times before, at least ten times daily, but this was new different on a whole new level. She wanted to joke about how he said she was the reason she was carrying their baby, wanting to say it was also him but she didn't want to ruin the moment. The tears that were already gathered her eyes started to fall silently down her cheeks. She even had to press her lips together to stifle a sob. "Oh Scott." She cried, throwing herself into his arms and holding him tight. "I love you so much." She cried into his shoulder. "This is why I'm pregnant in the first place. You're just so good to me and so incredible that I just needed to show you." She laughed through her tears, her shoulders shaking. "And having a duplicate of you is a bonus."

Her crying subsided some, replaced by a sweet smile. She bit her lip at his words, staring into his eyes with her wet and shiny ones. Automatically her cheeks turned pink when he called her gorgeous and she leaned her head against his hand when he fixed here behind her ear. "Then don't." She whispered, biting her lip quickly again. "Don't have to worry about getting me pregnant. I already am." She smirked, sliding her hands down to his waist and stepping even closer to him if that were possible.

Ajax was so glad to hear that. She was thankful that both of their parents were accepting of this pregnancy and were treating it like it was planned which it clearly wasn't. Ajax moved to Scott's side again, hugging his arm. She listened to Scott then laughed when Sue hit him. "I'm also glad you're totally cool with your son's girlfriend sleeping over all the time, and vise versa." She said, grinning. Their parents really were amazing, or at least better than most but still amazing in her eyes.

((Lol! And snow, snow is cool))

When he got a good hold of her by her knees, she wrapped her legs around his front, locking her ankles in place. "Stooppppp." She whine jokingly then laughed as he dropped her onto the bed, grunting. She adjusted herself and shrugged innocently. "It'll definitely put into consideration. Since you heart is calling to the South, you should go." She teased, kissing his cheek. "May I borrow a shirt please?" She asked, batting her eyelashes.

Ajax furrowed her brows when he seemed to skip over her simple question, going on about the South thing still. She sat up and crossed her legs, putting a cute pouting look on her face as he left, closing the door behind him. Ajax waited a minute or two, expecting him to come back, but then she heard the front door closed and gasped. She climbed out of his bed and slowly opened his bedroom door. "Scott?" She called, then walked out of his room and from the stairs. She peaked into the living room and kitchen, not finding him there. She then looked out the living room window and saw the side profile of the porch swing, noticing it was moving. She sighed and walked back to the front door, opening it and stepping out. "You're mean,"

Ajax sighed with relief at his first reason. She definitely agreed with it. As much as it would have been hard to see Scott depressed, she would have still helped him through it the best she could. When he mentioned the baby, her breath caught in her throat, waiting for the words she didn't want To hear, but then released it with a small, happy laugh. Of course he wanted the baby to come sooner. She did to. "Me to but we aren't ready yet." She laughed.

"Yeah," she sighed. "But those nine months go way quicker than you think. Usually a women doesn't even find out she's pregnant until about three months in." She said, shrugging. At the mention of staying outside, she shivered again. "I think we should go inside. But we should definitely sit out here more, once it starts getting warm." She smiled.

Ajax giggled when he picked her up, looping both hands around his neck to hold onto him. When he stopped in the kitchen and sat her down, she furrowed her brows in confusion and just stood there, watching him rummage through the fridge. She held the container in her hands, glancing down at it. "What in it- ah!" She squealed when he picked her up, giggling as they made their way upstairs. "Can I at least smell it?"

Ajax continued to smile up at him, looking away briefly to blow her nose with the tissue her mom gave her. She then looked back at scott again, smiling as he said that. She couldn't wait either and it will most likely go by quicker than they think. She couldn't yer imagine her laying in a hospital bed and giving birth to their child. It made her worry a littlE, considering the condition of her health and what not. But she was told by this doctor here and her brain surgeon that she was so far okay, and nothing was wrong. "I'm excited to but let's take it one day at a time okay?" She squeezed his hand and rested her other arm under her breasts(which were getting bigger) across her torso.
Dr. Kent hooked up the new machine, squirting more jelly onto Ajax's belly. "So you'll be able to see more of the baby's features with this ultrasound so I'll make sure to take pictures. But note that everything isn't developed yet,"
