Jade gulped standing on her trapeze platform holding onto the bar waiting for her cue. No one could see her yet. She was in the circus trapeze uniform. It was red and silver. It showed off her figure in a very appealing manor. She hated it but said nothing. She hated the trapeze but said nothing. She was terrified of heights but not as terrified as she was of the big burly man behind her. The people knew him as the circus strong man. She knew him as the stuff of her nightmares. She wanted to go home to her mom and dad. She wanted to be back in Peru and speak her favorite language of Spanish. Her home language.
