You need to get reading them. You are missing out. And I mean missing out! You'll understand that poem if you do. The first book is called City of Bones, followed by City of Ashes, then City of Glass, then City of Fallen Angels, then City of Lost Souls (my favourite), and the last book, City of Heavenly Fire, is released on May 27th :')
That's exactly what I thought before I read them, and now I simply want more of them. Six books isn't enough.

It's about a secret society kind of thing, and these demon hunters who are part-angel, part-human who call themselves Shadowhunters. They have they're own religion, and they worship the Angel Raziel (a thousand years ago, the Angel Raziel mixed his blood with the blood of a human - Jonathan Shadowhunter, which is where they get the name from - in a cup called the Mortal Cup, creating the first of the Nephilim), but they're not Christian's.
They don't say "Oh my God," they say "By the Angel."
It sounds cheesy, but the books are dark. And are full of badass hotties :)
