Apparently they don't do it, Ava. Predominantly so the reader can chose the edition they like best.I can see their point but also why it would be annoying for the author!
A.K., looking at my own book (also in two editions, hardback and paperback in my case) I found this:
Went to my Author Dashboard, then where it says "My Books" clicked on the book's title. This brought up the Book Page, which includes "all editions/add a new edition/combine". Clicked "combine" and got a whole "Richard C Cox > Combine Editions" page where (I'm guessing) you should be able to do it with one more click (although I haven't tried that myself obviously!) The same page also advises that, if you're still having trouble with this, ask at the "Goodreads Librarians Group" group. Hope this helps!

Not an expert, but I know that books with different covers are considered different editions by Goodreads editors, and you can't combine them. The same goes for ebook and paperback editions. I now have 5 editions for my one novel, and if I change the cover one more time I'll have 7. Hope it won't come to that.
