I am posting this so the folders are evident for this group. Unfortunately I just finished a book not in this genre The Nature of the Beast which I read in hardbound which is not typical for me lately. I am now reading another latest book of a series not in this genre The Novel Habits of Happiness either. Both mystery but not historical.I plan to read some more Ian Pears soon.

I am again reading out of this sub genre. I completed Emma by Alexander McCall Smith, and reading Rogue Lawyer now. My daughter took me to Barnes & Nobles and bought me 3 books for mother's day. So these have kept me busy.

I have been absent from this group primarily since I am caught up in reading Kate Wilhelm from Oregon and they are mysteries but not historical. I am on the last of her Barbara Holloway Series the main character is a defense lawyer. I love courtroom mysteries and this was a series of this that I had not found before. Kate Wilhelm Unfortunately she has more books besides this series. So not sure when I will be back to reading historical mysteries but would love to hear what others are reading in this genre.
