How are you? What's going on?

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

I was diagnosed in August, but I've had it for a total of a year and a half now. Therapy helps, I guess.

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments Pff that's why you have to lie XD Yes, I am a super truthful person - Unless it's about my well being. Then I lie.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

I tried. XD Didn't work. I'm a horrible liar.

message 5: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments As am I. Unless it's a.life or death situation like so. I swear my parents know though. Maybe not fully but we all know I'm not 100% right in the head yea ;) Constantly joking about how the mental hospital's like down the block and they're waiting for me. They're so sweet. Nonetheless, my mom straight out told me to lie on the doctors paper so, uh, honor thy mother..? XD

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Spoken like a good Christian. XD
Why'd she tell you to lie?

message 7: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments Oh yea XD

God: Why'd you lie?
Me: Mother said so. Honor thy mother.
God: .....

But anyway, because! No one wants a crazy kid. Not documented at least. No no no no no. That's bad. I don't need any labels attached to my name. I need to be perfectly sane therefore, I am.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Jesus Christ, Caitlyn. XD

That last sentence though. ^_^
And depression doesn't necessarily equal crazy.

message 9: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments XD Yea well, it kinda does. Or something like that. I don't know. Who knows? Not me. *shrugs* Though I must say, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE it when people say "Oh that makes me OCD." Um, no, try again. Just because you don't LIKE something a certain way, doesn't make you a disorder. You can't even be a disorder. That's like me saying, "Ugh trees. That makes me so pollen." -- What? Shut up. I can't deal with that. It's very annoying. Is there a chance I actually do have it, oh yea I most definitely do at least at a mild state. Or stage. Whatever they call that thing. Why even call it a stage? Disorders and diseases don't sing last time I checked. Ah, but what do I know?
Point is, I'm always getting the same thing from people. They all think I have OCD and or ADHD and I can't believe I spelt ADHD wrong four times in a row >.< How does that even happen? It's like what's the number for 911? How long does minute rice cook? I DON'T KNOW. WE BETTER CALL EINSTEIN! But.. yea.. what was the point of this again...? Crazy. Right. I'm not that crazy. Yea.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Whenever someone says that, I always shoot them down.
Example:
Annoying chick at school: "OMG! My nails don't match my shoes! Ugh, I'm so OCD!"
Me: "OH REALLY? You're professionally diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder?"

I agree that if you were to be evaluated, you'd be diagnosed with that in some form. But if you did have it, there's nothing wrong with that. At all.

You're not crazy. Maybe not totally 'normal', but seriously, no ones 'normal'. The best people are a little off.

message 11: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments If your nails don't match your shoes, CHANGE THEM or just better yet, shut up.

Yea not in this house.

AND HITLER??

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Hitler?!?! Where'd you get Hitler from?

message 13: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments You said the best people are a little off = Hitler

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Hilter wasn't just a little off. He was like, totally psychotic.

message 15: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments So then he would be better. Sorta.I have no idea where the logic went. What were we talking about again?

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

No? I mean… whaaat? XD I'm confused. I think you are too. :P

message 17: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments Very XD I almost always am.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Could be a good thing. Oblivion > reality.

message 19: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments True. Though I prefer to be a realist than be optimistic.

message 20: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments I apparently havw a very high neurotsim or something.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Just like your status-- you can't have both happiness and truth. You pick truth. I pick happy.

message 22: by notyourfriend (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 53 comments Fair enough. I can't choose happiness. It's just not for everyone I guess.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)
