Joelle nodded slightly as she watched him leaning back against the island," yeah that's fine with me." She answered," what are you going to make?" She asked putting her hands into her pockets and pulling out her phone to see what her mom had said

Joelle nodded a little bit," ohh sounds good to me." She replied with a smile. She looked around a little more not really moving from her spot though. Joelle sighed softly
"What? Oh nothing is wrong.. I'm just tired that's all." She answered honestly. " do you need me to do anything?" She asked
Joelle smiled and nodded," Sure I can do that." She answered then walked over closer to the stove and stirred the noodles a bit. Everything looked so good to her and she was glad right then she had agreed to go over to his house. He was a lot different than she had thought he would be
Joelle frowned," Sick of pretending about what?" She asked softly turning slightly to look at him with a small frown. She stared at him for a second trying to figure out what he meant with what he said
Joelle frowned more as he seemed to be really just ignoring her. She watched as he took the pot of noodles away and then drained them about to say something else when he started to speak. "But why do you hide this part of you?" She asked," There's nothing wrong with you being different than the entire school."
Joelle nodded slightly and looked at him as he finished making their food. She took the bowl and let him finish his thoughts before she said anything and even then she thought about it for a second before she did say anything," okay so you don't want them to see this side of you?" She asked," I mean I think you are selling yourself short when you just pretend to be someone you aren't... Besides I like you better this way than the way you act with your team."
Joelle sat down in the seat he pulled out for her," okay well I guess you shouldn't be made fun of for being yourself.. But what will they say after today? I mean I'm not at all popular so won't you get made fun of for hanging out with me?"
Joelle smiled a little bit," Okay well as long as I don't have to worry about them talking about me I guess I can still talk to you." She said with a smile as she took a small bite of her own food," Mmm this is really good...." Then she laughed softly to herself," This totally reminds me of high school musical."
Joelle laughed," So you have seen it." She said," I was expecting you to look at me like I was crazy." She commented still laughing a little bit
Joelle looked back over at him about to protest until she saw the look in his eyes and then she started to laugh," don't worry your secret is safe with me." She told him," as long as you don't turn into Sharpay or anything."
Joelle burst out laughing," That was fantastic." She said looking over at him. "My sister would love you." She said still giggling
"And I told you that your secrets were safe with me.. Rowen won't know about the fact that you have watched high school musical." She replied with a smile of her own
Joelle laughed softly and shook her head," I cannot believe you watch them and you are a junior in high school." She teased softly," it's alright I watch them too and teen beach movie and other things that are on Disney."
Joelle laughed softly and nodded," Thats true I can blame it on my siblings if they didn't go to bed at 8 when the movies normally start." She muttered laughing," Ohh ice cream sounds great." She answered smiling at his joke
"No I'm not your slave." She quipped laughing as she got up and put both of their bowls in the sink. Joelle was having fun with him just being herself and not worrying about what he thought of her right then
She smiled a little bit as nodded," Yoire welcome." She replied. She took her bowl of ice cream and sat back down next to him,"Well this was a lot of fun."
Joelle smiled a little bit and shook her head," Im not walking home you said you were going to take me home." She told him," I'm not meeting your parents." She answered looking at him wide eyes
Joelle smiled, "I'm sure they are really nice." she answered then shook her head a little bit, "I can stay a bit longer, what are we going to do now?" she asked as she finished her own ice cream
(( it's all good)) Joelle shrugged as he listed a few thing off. She shook her head," I thought I was ready for everything but unfortunately I do not carry my bathing suit around with me." She replied," What kind of game room do you have?" She asked slightly confused
Joelle raised her eyebrows a little bit and then followed him up the stairs," Umm I don't care I'm not that good at any games really." She replied
Joelle nodded a little bit," well alright just don't laugh at how awful I am." She told him. She walked into the room and looked around," so this is what happens when you don't have any siblings around." She murmured
Joelle nodded a little bit," Yeah I guess that would be a plus." She replied looking around a little bit and wondering what they were going to be doing. She shrugged," okay that's fine with me but I don't know what I'm doing if we play that." She answered
Joelle nodded slightly and watched what he was doing. She was not sure what she was supposed to do right then. She took the pole from him and watched as he took the first shot," okay so I need to get those into the pockets?" She asked pointing at the colored balls not sure how she was going to do that
Joelle looked at him as he pulled her closer. She was totally oblivious to why he wanted to play pool. She blushed a little bit as he showed her what to do. "So like this?" She asked softly be fore she actually took the shot.
Joelle stopped what she was doing and turned slightly to face him," what?" She asked thinking she didn't hear him correctly. Once she had turned she was surprised at how close they were together
Joelle looked at him for a while then smiled a little bit." So that's what you were hiding from me." She replied then nodded a little bit," yeah I will." She answered
Joelle giggled softly and shook her head," No you aren't very good at hiding things." She answered then nodded," Okay I'll go out with you after the game." She replied
Joelle laughed softly and nodded," good I was hoping you would or I might not end up leaving my house." She teased softly and looked up at him," well you can if you want to.. But I thought you didn't want your team to make fun of you. " she said softly watching him. It wasn't that she didn't want to go out with him she just thought he didn't want that
Joelle nodded a little bit," well alright then if you are sure about it." She replied softly. She glanced down at their hands and then back up at him
Joelle blushed a little bit and smiled," Well l guess I can deal with that." She replied," I thought you were sweet before you started to play football and now I realize you are still that way just hiding him."
Joelle smiled a little bit," Im not that scary am I?" She asked slightly teasing him," so it is true what everyone else said about you that you didn't date anyone." She said softly. "I mean I didn't really listen to half of what others were saying but it's nice to know that they did say something that was true about you."
She laughed and shook her head," I wondered why no one talked to me." She replied giggling softly. Joelle smiled at him a little bit then shook her head again," no I didn't hear that one." She replied softly
Joelle shrugged," I think all of that is crazy and no one should believe any of it." She replied," I think all of them are dumb for saying things about others that aren't true."
Joelle shrugged a little bit and then nodded," well maybe they do but I think they should stop." She replied then shrugged a little bit," yeah we can finish the game."
Joelle looked at him and shrugged a little bit," No I'm not sure why you would do that." She replied softly looking up at him as he moved away from her a little bit
Joelle watched him for a second before she blushed a little bit catching what he was trying to tell her," Oh." She said softly looking at him still blushing a bit
This caused her to smile and blush even more. " well thanks." She replied softly looking up at him
Joelle's eyes widened a little bit," Umm I don't know what time is it?" She asked looking up at him. "I told my mom I would be home by like 6:30 or 7."
Joelle smiled a little bit as she nodded slightly," okay well then," she replied as she held his hand with a smile as walked out to his truck with him," I live on Park Avenue,"
Joelle shrugged a little bit," I guess but my house isn't as nice as yours is," she replied looking over at him. She looked over at him as he drove around to her house," You dont have to ask me." She answered smiling a little bit
Joelle smiled and laughed a little bit," Ohh well I guess I'll be alright with you asking to hold my hand." She answered looking at him ," My house is the third one on the left."
"You weren't fast enough." She teased softly as she got out of his truck," be careful I'm sure my siblings are staring out the window and in about 15 seconds Jordan will come running out the front door with Jada right behind him." She replied as they walked to the front door. Just as they got there a young boy opened the door," Joey!!"
Joelle shook her head as she hugged Jordan, " no you cannot call me Joey." She replied laughing a little bit. Jordan looked at Collin as Jada walked out of the house," Ellie your home.. Bubby was being mean to me and then Jace took him away."
Joelle looked at him and smiled," Ellie I can deal with," she replied," come on you two wild children lets go inside... Are you coming Collin?" She asked looking over at him with a smile. "By the way this is Jordan and that's jada.. Then you will probably meet my older brother Jason."
Joelle looked back at him," Umm maybe?" She asked the shrugged as Jordan ran over to Collin, "hi I'm Jordan and I'm 6 and that's my sisters.. I don't know how old Joey is or Jace but jada is the same as me."
Joelle rolled her eyes and nodded a little bit," yeah we kind of are." She replied softly looking at Collin. Jordan giggled," What's your name?" He asked
Jada smiled," I think he's nice."
Joelle smiled a little bit as she looked over at him as she walked into the living room with Jada hugging her around the waist. Jordan tilted his head a little bit," what's that?" He asked.
Jason came down the stairs," Why wasn't I invited to the party?" He asked looking at his younger siblings then at Collin," Who are you?" He asked
Jason raised his eyebrows a little bit as he shook Colin's hand. "Well I'm assuming since Joelle didn't kick your butt that she likes you so I don't have a problem with you until my sister does so be warned." He replied scooping Jada up into his arms and carrying her into the kitchen," Jo when do the mice go to sleep?" Joelle rolled her eyes slightly," Not until 8." She called back. "I'm sorry about him he gets a little weird."
((I don't know I just felt like it :) Joelle smiled a little bit and nodded," Fine then you can deal with my older brother." She replied but blushed slightly at the end of his last statement
Jason looked at him," alright then I guess I don't have to worry about you for a little while." He commented
