I think we're good! The only thing I was iffy on was the telepathy but the aliens have it and use it against the humans - so we're totally good! WOOHOO!!

I'm on the second chapter and feel like this book resembles the movie "mars attacks" which I hated!!! I really hope it gets better since I am only on chapter 2.

Well, I am taking one for the team, too. This is just such a boring book, and I'm only halfway through. I can't relate to anything,especially Sherry, and the alien plot and all of it is just so not believable.
If there weren't for Merrick, this would be a total disaster.

I'm not saying I like him that much either, but in comparison to all the other characters he seems the best. But IMO, this book should have never been published in the first place.

It's funny to see that some people rated it 5 stars and raved how good it is. To each her own, I guess. LOL

I know one book that I read and one of very favorite series one person recently rated it 1 star. I literally was sitting in front of my computer and my mouth flung open and I said, "WHAT??" LOL I was shocked that anyone would give it a 1. LOL We are all so different, but I literally couldn't imagine a ONE!! LOL

Vicki, I couldn't imagine that either! A one for Obsidian?? I don't know, to me that's just crazy, but I have not liked books that other people have loved! So like you said, we are all different and that's a good thing! :D

I'm 6 chapters in and it just seems odd. (view spoiler)[ It's very odd, Merrick and his getting used to Matt's body and emotions, the whole world building, and Sherry too. I think that her ability to detect lies is supposed to be a mystery, but it's kind of annoying to not know what's up with that! (hide spoiler)]

I didn't like it either! And it makes me really sad to say that because I love Shelly Crane's writing! Her Significance series has one of my most favorite YA couples!

I just found it repetitive and awkward. Strange sometimes like with Merrick (view spoiler)[ trying to get used to his new body, but he didn't have a hard time coming up with pet names? lol!! It just seemed false to me. (hide spoiler)]

And through the whole book (view spoiler)[ Sherry and Merrick both with their insistant way of putting themselves down all the time! It really drove me nuts! (hide spoiler)]

I really wanted to like this one! I'm so sad I didn't! :\

Yeah, you know it's kind of funny because it reminded me...a little bit...of that series I mentioned Siginificance, but only waaaaaaayyyy better!! Like she revamped it or something, changed somethings like characters names and made it better, more awesome! lol! :D
