Here's Flavorwire's picks for the books you MUST read this fall:

http://flavorwire.com/535500/33-must-...

Rushdie's newest was already on my to-get list for audio
And I'm currently listening to Atwood's newest
And so many of these look so good....

How about you?

Kandice Lori, is The Heart Goes Last just a compilation of the Choke Collar ebooks by her?

Kandice,
To be honest, I had no clue that these kindle series existed. It sounds very much like what I'm reading. But I can't say if it's all of the series in one massive novel form or if it's its own story (with those kindle books as side-stories).

Kandice Crud! I have all of the little ebooks, and the synopsis sounds exactly the same, but I don't want to miss anything new by her either. Guess I'll have to buy it and find out.

I will say, I paid $2.99 or $3.99 for each of the installments, so I'll feel cheated if I pay again for the same thing. *sigh*

Such are the worries of book lovers!

DM me here and we can discuss what you read and whether it matches what I'm currently reading.... before you spend the money. BUT NO SPOILERS.. just in case : )

Kandice I found this: "Library Journal
04/01/2015
In her first stand-alone novel since the Man Booker Prize-winning The Blind Assassin, published in 2000, Atwood draws on the same almost-here dystopia as her online Positron stories. Charmaine and Stan are barely getting by when they answer an ad for Consilience, a social experiment that allows them a comfortable home of their own in suburbia. The one little hitch is that every other month they must spend time in a prison cell. Classic Atwood.
"

So I guess it's NOT just a compilation and I'll have to buy it. Yay! The series is really good, Lori, and if you like her you would like them.

TO be honest, I'm over halfway through the audio and Charmaine is annoying the heck out of me! I always struggle with Atwood. I want to like her novels so much and end up getting frustrated with the characters. Ha.

Sharyl, I think the final MaddAddam was the worst of the three. I just didn't like the way she told the story in that one.
