I loved how well she handled some fairly taboo issues, especially mental health, and also how pressuring some guys can be and how they expect shenanigans asap, rather than actually being a nice guy and treating someone nicely.

Yeh I agree, especially about how she handled mental health. I loved how Evie trying to be normal wasn't solely about her coping with her OCD, but also just about coping with school and making friends, dating etc. things everyone worries about.
Also, and I know it's a random thing to like, but I also loved that there was a major conversation about periods. You barely ever hear anything about periods in any books, let alone a whole chapter about them. (FYI, I really recommend watching this video by lucythereader on the subject of periods in YA, because it's so brilliant.)

Same, really interested to learn more about Amber and Lottie. Their lives seem, from this book anyway, to be so different to Evie's.

I GOT A LIMITED EDITION YELLOW COPY IT ARRIVED TODAY TOTAL SURPRISE IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL AND IT'S SIGNED I ENTERED SO MANY COMPETITIONS FOR THIS IDK WHICH COMPETITION IT CAME FROM. I'm now going to go through my original copy and highlight my favourite quotes. Do you think she'll do the limited edition reverse colour thing for the other two books?

If you have yet to read it, then this is your opportunity! For everyone who already has, let's discuss!
Some ideas to get discussion rolling:
So much of this series is about female friendships and feminism, what did you think of how the book handled those topics?
Favourite characters/moments?
Hopes for the rest of the series?
What did you take away from reading the book?
