About the original pub. date: according to the description two stories were written after 1887 (L'homme de Mars (1888)
Qui sait? (1890).

Thank you Arenda. Regarding the original publication date, 1887 is actually the publication date of the short that has given its name to the book, hence my mistake.

There seems a glitch occurred though as this edition now shows Januray 1st, 1977 as its first publication date.

I think I have read somewhere that original pub date should be the date of the last published story/part of an anthology edition. I can't find it in the librarian manual.

Updated the original pub. date to 1890 according to the date of the individual stories in it.
