My kindle app won't sync

Had absolutely no problems with this app, until today and every time i try to sync it fails, I've turned my iPhone off and on, looked on web, can't find anywhere to help me sort this problem! Can anyone help!?

I was having the same issue with my actual Kindle earlier.

Maybe Amazon is having server trouble - a book I bought earlier this morning still hasn't shown up on any of my devices, even after repeated syncing.
