I'll start off.
1. The Giver by Lois Lowry.
2. Science fiction and horror.
3. I want to make connections with other people. I would value these connections because I don't know anyone in real life who enjoys reading for fun. I also want to add books to my bookshelf, I would love to learn about new books and genres I would never have thought much about before.
4. I made this group because I noticed that there were no active groups out there for people new to Goodreads.
5. I enjoy watching anime and enjoy listening to kpop. Here is my myanimelist profile (a site similar to Goodreads but for anime):http://myanimelist.net/profile/seal308
6. I watched a tv show called Big Brother over the summer. My friends make fun of that show, but it's a little secret of mine so don't tell anyone :)

Hi Jessica. In your intro you stated that you only used to read what was required. I always thought that people who write for fun must read a lot. Is this fallacious of me or did you start to write after you started reading for fun?
Do you believe a good writer needs to read a great deal?

I've always been more of a free writer. I do agree that you must read alot to be a decent writer, I wouldn't publish any of my stuff just yet but i do feel that reading more would help me write better.
