Have you ever used graphic novels in the classroom? If so, what did you think? Pros, cons? Any suggestions of specific titles for any Social Studies in a Middle or High school classroom? Thanks for your help!

I've used parts of the graphic novel of The Red Badge of Courage. Also, a few of my reluctant readers read the entire graphic novel during my Civil War unit. They really enjoyed the adaptation.Puffin Graphics Red Badge of Courage
