Looking for specific book

Hi!

Can anybody help me look for a specific book. I can't remember the author and title but i do remember that the female lead comes from a family of cops and she's a screenwriter who's boyfriend left her after she wrote a movie that made her ex a household name. Her leading man is a movie star who's the ex of her actress friend. There's also the director who wants to kill the lead actor cause he's the ex of the director's wife.

I don't know the title of this book, but has similar themes: the heroine is a Harley-riding Hollywood director, and the hero is the up-and-coming heartthrob actor at her current job, who is poisoned and ends up recuperating at her home!

I'm looking for a historical romance where the heroine is in love with the hero and they marry. Then heroine comes to know that hero marries her for her bloodline. Hero goes off to fight war. He returns seven years(I think) later. The heroine doesn't know the hero had been a prisoner-of-war and thinks the hero avoided her and their marriage. She still hates him. When hero comes home, heroine pretends to be heroine's cousin instead. The hero's name is Tristan. Heroine's name starts from A, I think.

Neither of those links are any good. No such thing as buying books directly through GoodReads (at least not for many years). Go to the book page & then depending on which booksellers you have listed, you click on the link "online stores" and it will take you to a seller.
