He put a finger under her chin, turning her towards him again so he could look into her eyes. "Salem... I'm going to let you leave now, if you still want to... and I will not make that decision for you. You'll be in your father's hands as soon as you leave, though."
He nodded and sighed. "I thought you would." He stepped away from her and watched her.

He didn't say anything, just watching her go. He sighed again once she was gone.
The guards stepped in front of her as she stepped out. "You're to come with us now," one of them said.
The guards stepped in front of her as she stepped out. "You're to come with us now," one of them said.
One behind her and the other leading, they took her to a room and opened the door. The room was all white and featureless, and a black-haired boy was inside, sitting against a wall. He looked up as the door opened and his eyes widened as he saw her. "Shadow!"
In her head Richard said, I asked them to do you a favor. You were going to be put in a cell anyway, so it was the least I could do.
Sean shook his head. "I should ask you the same thing! Are you all right? What did they do with you?"
Sean shook his head. "I should ask you the same thing! Are you all right? What did they do with you?"

Oh,thank-you Richard. Shadow pushed her curls out of her face and sighed, stepping further in. "I-I'm fine."
((XD Okay. I'm back, but only for a little while.))
You're welcome.
Sean stood and went to her. "Did they heal your back?" he asked.
You're welcome.
Sean stood and went to her. "Did they heal your back?" he asked.
He decided not to ask what had happened to her hand, instead suddenly hugging her. "I'm glad you're alright. I was worried..."
Fiona had fallen asleep again, and for a while she didn't dream, but then the was in a room, watching through a window as the boy that she now knew as her brother embraced the girl with silver hair. She smiled and woke up.
She sat up and looked around the room.

She sat up and looked around the room.
Sean let go and looked at her, slightly surprised, but he nodded and didn't ask. "Alright," he said softly.
Fiona looked at John, and smiled. "He's okay now. They're together again. I think they like each other."
Fiona looked at John, and smiled. "He's okay now. They're together again. I think they like each other."
((Ach, shut up, John, and humor the kid. *rolls eyes* XP))
Sean smiled at her sadly. "What did they do? Other than heal you, I mean. You look sad."
"I'm fine!" Fiona shook her head and looked at him the same way. "I trust my dreams, that's all. You would, too, if you had dreams like mine. What happens in my dreams always happens in real life."

Shadow chuckled, "I'm not sad, I'm controlling my anger."
John smiled at her. "Well that's good."
"Sure. So what made you angry? Your parents?" he asked.
Fiona frowned and looked away. "You still don't believe me, do you?"
Fiona frowned and looked away. "You still don't believe me, do you?"
Sean's eyes darkened a little. "Ellis? What did he say?" He had guessed that Ellis didn't do much but talk.
Fiona turned to him again, eyes wide. "Really?"
Fiona turned to him again, eyes wide. "Really?"
Sean was confused. "Don't remember?"
Fiona beamed at him. "Thank you!" she crawled across the bed and hugged him.

He nodded and sat down. "Well..." he sighed. "So we're stuck in here still?"
Fiona looked up at him and asked, "Can I see him now?"
Fiona looked up at him and asked, "Can I see him now?"

"That isn't for me to choose, little miss." he disentangled himself and walked to the door. "I'll ask." John left and went to Jack's office, knocking on the door.
((I have to go now. Bye!))
Sean sighed. "Are you sure you're alright?"
Fiona watched. "Okay." she sighed and sat down in bed again, waiting.
Sean sighed. "Are you sure you're alright?"
Fiona watched. "Okay." she sighed and sat down in bed again, waiting.
((I'm here for just a minute, but I'll have to get off again soon. :())
Sean shook his head. "No one's always fine," he said, smiling sadly. "And you certainly aren't."
((Sorry, I forgot I was playing Jack. XD))
"Come in," Jack called.
Sean shook his head. "No one's always fine," he said, smiling sadly. "And you certainly aren't."
((Sorry, I forgot I was playing Jack. XD))
"Come in," Jack called.

Shadow ignored his comment, preferring to act as if it were true; that she was fine.
John opened the door and stood in front of Jack's desk.
Sean sighed. "All right... did you hear anything about my sister?"
Jack nodded to him. "Hello. What is it?"
Jack nodded to him. "Hello. What is it?"

"The girl. She wants to see her brother."
((Why isn't she telling him about his father? Just curious...))
"Okay," he said quietly.
Jack nodded. "Hm... It's interesting to learn who he is. I've been watching, of course." He thought for a moment. "Fine. We'll let her see him. Not just now, though. I need to talk to the boy."
((Sorry I was gone a bit. I was helping out with the new dog.))

((Sorry I was gone a bit. I was helping out with the new dog.))

I met your dad.
((that's okay: did you have fun?))
John nodded his understanding. "Alright sir."
((Sort of. We introduced the new dog to the others outside because that works better, and it was freezing! Literally. There's a lot of snow out there and it keeps coming. Bleh. I want spring!))
Sean closed his eyes and leaned his head back like he was bored and tired. Oh! How...? What did he say? Is he with them?

Jack smiled slightly. "You should go back... oh, and she can't see her parents yet, either."

He was just..there. Um, he told me that he is here to watch over Fiona..and you. He's not 'with' them, he has no authority but the lower ranked people still seem to listen to him.
((I know! I liked the snow at first, because we don't usually get a lot here in Kentucky, but then it kept coming and it's ice underneath and I don't like it much.))
Ah... I can't believe he's been here, and known about me being here! I wonder how long... And how long they've had Fiona, without me knowing.
Ah... I can't believe he's been here, and known about me being here! I wonder how long... And how long they've had Fiona, without me knowing.

I wonder the same thing her face darkened. "My dad is going to talk to you." this was a normal thing for her to say, everyone knew she'd know about a decision like that.
((Hm... I usually wish I'd get a bit more, but I don't anymore. XD It gets awfully hot here in the summer, though. And it stinks because I don't get to swim much; there's no swimming pool near where I live, so we have to drive an hour to a lake we can swim in.))
Sean sighed and nodded, standing.
Sean sighed and nodded, standing.
((You wanna be Jack while he's talking to Sean? XD))
((Okay, bye for now!))
Sean watched the door and waited.
Sean watched the door and waited.

((sure, I'll be Jack. what did you want him to say?))
Jack opened the door and stepped in,closing it behind him.
((Bleh, you're back just as I'm leaving. Well, I'll be back soon, I have to clean up the kitchen for my mother 'cause she's got a migraine and she's laying down.))
((Um... I wanted him to ask if he'd known about his family and stuff and just ask some general questions 'cause he doesn't know much about him. And scare him a little, you know, threaten him or something. XP))

Sean looked at him, his face grim.
((Back!))
Sean decided it would be best to answer truthfully; it wouldn't hurt. "Seventeen."
