Sean couldn't hold his temper anymore; he punched Ellis in the jaw.

Parker laughed, and sat back to watch. Ellis swept his hand across his face breifly before attacking in his own way. You could tell, if you knew him, when he used his power to decieve. Now was one of those times. "Dreadful sorry Sean. That wasn't nice of you though. Tsk tsk. We're not fighting are we?"
Sean blinked, and stepped away, still glaring. "Not this time..." He said, teeth clenched.
"Tres Bien." Ellis smiled.Shadow moaned, unhappy at the turnout, and slid to a sitting position just as her father and mother came into the cell.

Sean closed his eyes for a moment, concentrating on hearing Shadow's thoughts. He shook his head and turned to go out of the room, to go back to Shadow.

Jack scowled as he looked down at his daughter. "So, you've been talking to the guard and tricked him into falling in love with you. Hm. Well, I suppose I should thank you for that... maybe you'll listen a little better if it'll save him some pain..." He chuckled darkly.
Sean ran to Shadow's cell and froze, staring at the people there. He knew they must be her parents. Suddenly Jack spun around and grabbed Sean, holding his arms behind his back so he couldn't move. Sean gasped and struggled against him, but Jack was stronger than he.

Salem's impassive face contorted into anger when her father grabbed Sean. "I didn't trick him intp anything Jack. You of all people should know that's not me!"Her mother, Gwen, smiled ruthlessly.
Sean raised his leg and kicked Jack in the shin. Jack stumbled backwards a little and loosened his grip on Sean, who pulled away and ran into the cell with Shadow.
Jack growled and glared at him. "You brat!" He spat.

Gwen fingered the switches on the taser she held.Salem tried to take it, using telekinesis, but her mother had planned for that and a strap held it to her. "Dammit."

"Idiots!" she shouted at them. "I don't even know him! He works for you!" Shadow's rage was boiling over and she stood, gently letting Sean 'fall'. Her mother flinched and looked to Jack, seeing as she was not strong enough to take on her daughter.

((okipoki, me too))"No! You can't tell me what to do anymore! You lost that priveledge when you stopped being my dad!" she ecxlaimed, clenching her fists tightly by her side.
Jack's face softened just a bit. "I'll always be your father, whether you like it or not. And I'm doing what's best for you. You need to calm down, or we'll have to subdue you."
"You are not doing what's best for me!" Shadow could barely see through her furious tears. "You are being selfish!" a chair slammed into the wall by them.
He shook his head and smiled. "You don't understand. You're just angry, and you need to calm down so that we can talk to you. Sit down... and control yourself."
Salem paused, her hands falling unclenched as she sat abruptly. "Stop.Smiling.At.Me." she replied,seething.
"Very good," Jack nodded and smiled a bit more. "Thank you, Salem. Now... I think your dear friend Ellis would like to speak to you."

"what? No. I'm not talking to him." Salem stood again. "No!"Ellis came in, a grim smile on his face. "Hey Say."
"Don't you ever call me that! Never!!" she threw a chair at him.
Jack smiled darkly and stepped back, watching. "Be nice, Salem... Or I might end up hurting your friend over there." he pointed at Sean, and two men came in and dragged him out.
Salem stared at him. "He's not my friend. I barely know him."Ellis chuckled. "right, that's why you let him kiss you, Say. Bad choice on your part."
"I won't play nice Ellis." she told im calmly, tossing another chair,this time with more force.
Jack told the men to put Sean in a different cell from Salem's, down the hall. They did so.
She looked puzzled,knowing what they'd done. "Why? Why put him in a cell and not just fire him?"
Jack laughed. "I'm doing both. He told Parker what he can do... and I'm not letting him go free."
"I despise you." she sent a metal chair flying at him.
He ducked out of the way, chuckling.
"STOP! None of this is funny!" her eyes flamed a brighter shade of purple and the emotions swirled visibly. She ditched the telekinesis, tackling her dad to the floor.
The two men that had taken Sean to his cell now pulled Shadow off of Jack, and Jack scowled at her. "Leave her in the cell," he spat. "I'll deal with her later..." The men dumped her in the cell and closed the door on her, locking it.
Shadow checked to see if Sean was conscious, knowing her parents most likely would've started searching for a Reader good enough to track both their minds. Sean?Ellis was thoroughly upset. "Mr. Reis, what are you going to do?"
Sean groaned as Shadow's presence in his mind woke him. He gasped and sat up, confused. What? Where am I? Shadow?
Jack straightened his suit and shook his head. "That girl needs to learn a lesson... I don't know. But you should not be so attached to her. You could lose your job if you started to care too much."

Shadow sighed in slight releif. You are in a cell. My stupid ex-parents did that, you can thank those jerks.Ellis grinned sadistically. "Can I watch when you do?" he chuckled darkly. "I care less than you think Mr.Reis."
Sean sighed and leaned against the wall. Great... This sucks. I was kind of stupid to kiss you, wasn't I?
Jack glanced and him and raised an eyebrow. "Then why did you care that the boy had kissed her?"

Salem did the same but smiled lightly. Stupid? Yes. But I can't say I regret it as much as you might.

Jack went to his office, where he could watch everyone that worked for him, and he smiled darkly.
