Patrik nodded at her. What do you want to do?

We can't do anything yet. If we do..well. This isn't safe: but it'll be a whole lot worse if we fight right now. Parker interrupted their unspoken conversation with a loud cough, reminding her that they weren't alone and that there were most likely other Readers here. And definately more Emotes. Friggin' Emotes. she thought to herself.

[Hannah]

Patrik smriked And threw up a mental wall around Patrik and Salem. Well, Emotes can't touch us.

She nodded. Thanks. And that's good. you don't know how good that is. Shadow paused. Okay, maybe you do.

Ellis was pissed that they were being so calm.

[Hannah]

Anytime. If we get out of here I'll teach you.

[Ky]

Shadow nodded again. "That'd be great." she said it outloud, knowing that no one in that room would understand the correct connotation.

[Hannah]

Patrik laughed and grinned at her.

Hunter dropped Emmy roughly to the ground.

Patrik grinned and caught her before she hit the pavement. Then with a flick of his wrist he froze Hunter to the floor.

Ellis cocked his head in slight confusion. "What is this all about?"

Shadow shook her silver and aqua curls,chuckling.

[Hannah]

((Ok we need some drama. Some one is going to get shot with a bullet. And ik who. hehe))

Patrik looked at Ellis and shrugged putting Emmy on the ground. She would wake up soon enough.

Parker just walked back in. He smiled and went for something behind his back.

[Ky]

((alright! sounds great.))

Ellis rolled his eyes and went to the boardroom to get a coffee. ((random))

Shadow shifted her body so she faced Parker, narrowing her eyes when she saw him reach behind his back.

[Hannah]

((Sweet! And Ellis is wicked funny.))

Patrik looked at Parker and wasn't expecting what was about to happen.

Emmy somehow knew the second she woke up. She stood up silently and went to shoot fire at Parker. But she was too late.

Parker whipped out the gun. A real one this time. What Kher said was true, they would do anything to get Emmy's cooperation.

Patrik was hit with the bullet seconds later. Pain exploded in his chest. He fell back into Emmy instantly blacking out.

((thanks. coffee..?))

Shadow froze, perturbed and seriously shocked. What the hell?! How did he do that without me hearing his thoughts!?

Ellis watched it happen on the bigscreen and even he was surprised..though glad it wasn't Salem.

((haha ikr? Its like you just kidnapped people way more powerful then yourselves and you want a caffene buzz...?))

Emmy grabbed Patrik and slid down the wall.
"Patrik? Come on look at me." She said scared.
She had no idea what to do about guns, she hadn't been injured by one before. Shadows just attacked you. They didn't shoot you. She thought quickly and took off her T-shirt and put it on his wound.

Liv left Blaze's side and Ran to Patrik and Emmy.
"What the hell?!"
"He just shot him. I hve no idea what the hell happened..."

Parker smiled and left, shutting the door behind him.

((Btw did you reply on the palace one?))

((*grins* of course. he's immature like that..aha))

Blaze ran over too, seeing as he was Medik and would be able to help if Patrik's body didn't reject his efforts.

Shadow snapped out of her stupor and walked over calmly.

Emmy looked at Blaze.
"Can you try? I don't thin its going to work but please try."

((Sad thing is... its not gonna work.))

((I figured. but all the more fun...?...for us at least))

He nodded. "I'll try." he placed his hands on Patrik, not directly on the wound, but close. He pulled back almost immediately. "It won't work. I can tell."

Shadow grimaced. "Sure?"

"Yes I'm sure."

Ellis spilled his coffee on his pants, yelping and jumping up from his plush seat. "Crap!"

Another Torch agent laughed at him.

[Hannah]

"Damn it!" Emmy yelled getting up.

Liv took over for her.
"What do you want to do?"

Emmy looked at the celing and sighed then yelled
"Kher!"
"Yes," She smiled plesantly from the doorway.
"Why did you do this?"
"I told you. You will work with us or they will all die."
"Heal him or I'll kill all of you."
Kher laughed "We aren't stupid. You will do what we ask and he will be healed. That is the bargin."
Emmy looked at the ground and thought for a minute then said cooly
"What do you need me to do?"

Shadow wanted to tell her no, wanted to tell Emmy to stay strong and individual. But she couldn't do that. Not to Patrik.

Blaze understood.

Ellis went to clean himself up and change.

Shadow turned around, looking for a way to any room other than the one they were in. She saw oine and walked towards it.

[Hannah]

Kher smiled and looked at Emmy
"Thats more like it. I will send healers in in a moment."
And she walked out.

Emmy fell to her knees and stared at the ground. There was nothing anyone could say.

She slammed open the door,breaking the lock with her mind, and sailed through it, running down the hall.

Blaze stood by Liv,holding his hands in front of him.

Ellis had gotten another coffee, only to get laughed at by the man who saw him spill the first one.

Shadow, not seeing any agents, slammed into one of the doors.

[Hannah]

Liv looked at him her hands still on Patrik's chest, trying to stop the bleeding.

Emmy sat there, silently. Waiting for the anger to come back. that was something she knew how to deal with, something she could control.

[Ky]

Blaze bit his lip, he didn't know why he couldn't help, only that it wouldn't work.

The room she had run into was bright and she immediately regretted doing so. Shadow froze in the doorframe, seeing Hunter.

[Hannah]

"It's not your fault." Emmy said "Healers never work on us."

"Emmy," Liv said urgently
She stood up and went over to Patrik.

Hunter smiled devilishly at her.
"What do you think your doing?"

[Ky]

"Oh," he said flatly,feeling a little better.

"I- Nothing." she tried to glare at him,stepping back.

[Hannah]

Emmy nodded taking Patrik from Liv.

Hunter smirked
"ok"

Shadow rolled her eyes. "Get over yourself Hunter."

Blaze watched them.

Ellis shook off the laughter and drank his coffee, wondering where Salem had gone.

[Hannah]

"Oh but then I won't be as fun." Hunter smirked

Liv stood and walked to Blaze and wrapped her arms around him.

[Ky]

"Fun? Ha. So fun." Shadow ducked out of the room, her voice mocking.

Blaze hugged her close. "I'm sorry."

[Hannah]

Hunter laughed.

Liv said into his chest
"Its not your fault."

"No. It's mine." Emmy said

Blaze looked at Emmy over Liv's head. "It's not your fault, it's theirs."

Shadow peeked back in. "By the way, I'm going to kill you later."

[Hannah]

"No it isn't its mine." Emmy said again

Hunter smiled and said
"I'm sure you will."

[Ky]

His voice was more serious this time. "It's not Emmy. Never."

A ghost of a smile lit on her lips. "Of course," Shadow made a glass of water dump on his head and then turned on her heel.

[Hannah]

Emmy pressed on the balled up T-shirt against Patrik's chest. Partially ignoring Blaze.

Hunter growled.

[Ky]

Her laugh rang out, soft and light, in the brightly lit hallway.

Blaze kissed Liv's head.

[Hannah]

Liv held on to him.

Emmy Pulled Patrik onto her lap and ran her free hand through his hair.

[Ky]

"It's gonna be okay.."

Shadow came back into the room, glowing.

"I hope your right." Liv said quietly.

Emmy looked up as she walked in.

[Ky]

"He is." Shadow said lightly. "It will be fine."

Blaze sighed, he hadn't really known.

Emmy nodded at her.

Liv smiled and kissed him lightly.

[Ky]

"Did Kherington come back yet? She said she would with healers." Shadow walked the last few feet to Patrik and Emmy.

Blaze kissed her back.

Ellis burst out laughing. "Since when is this a romance?!"

[Hannah]

Emmy melted the room that Ellis was standing in hoping that would shut him up. She was pissed enough to blow this whole place to peices.
"She should be here soon." She growled

Liv ignored Ellis.

Kher waited a few more minutes to see what Emmy would do.

Ellis jumped, dropping his coffee cup and being shocked in general.

Shadow was getting impatient with Kher's games. "Oh quit it Kherington Jones! Nothing is going to happen!" she shouted. Turning to Emmy she said much mroe calmly, "She is waiting for you to snap, don't do it."

[Hannah]

Emmy laughed sinisterly. "Its a bit late for that. But..."

"Emmy." Liv said

[Ky]

"Emmy I know you can do this." shadow said calmly. "I saw it." But it still depends on what she chooses.

[Hannah]

Emmy closed her eyes, but heat waves rolled off of her. She put a hand on Patrik's wound. The heat intensified, then died.

Kher walked in smiling happily
"Shadow, you lied something else did happen."

[Ky]

Shadow glared at her. "I don't lie, I didn't know. Get a life."

Blaze gripped Liv's hand.

[Hannah]

"What happened to your healers?" Emmy asked darkly

Liv looked at him.

Kher looked at Emmy
"He doesn't need them."
"Are you kidding me?! He's been nonstop bleeding for a half an hour!"
"Look at him."

[Ky]

Shadow reigned in her own gasp.

Blaze however did no such thing. "Woah."

Ellis was washing up in the bathroom, having spilled his coffee again. Thanks alot Emmy.

[Hannah]

Emmy looked down at Patrik. He was fine, he had stopped bleeding and all that was left of him ever being hurt was a scar.
"Your shitting me."
"No, I'm not."

Emmy jumped up and looked at her hand, she looked at Kher and then at Salem.
"What is happening to me? I didn't-"
