She sighed and her arms dropped with it, she caught herself before she dropped the baby,sending a cautious glance to Hunter. "Patrik, I don't get it.." she trailed off, seeing something. "Dammit."Ellis looked at Lilac, "What are you doing?!"
She looked up at him, "Giving up, what does it look like El? I can't win, her fire is better than mine."
"We are all going to be killed." Patrik said.Emmy laughed
((Can I kill people??))
((yes you can! *she said brightly* ..mabes not Ellis..Shadow would freak))Shadow looked up,eyes still a little glazed over. "No..not all of us.."
Ellis glared.
Lilac put her head in her hands.
((Lilac I'm so sorry...)))Patrik watched in horror as he knew the next few minutes would bring.
Emmy's fire circled Lilac.
((olo, I don't like her, she's a little brat in the book..you'd hate her I'm sure))"She dies." Shadow didn't watch,already having seen it in her mind, instead she looked at Avery, her innocence radiating from her like a flower's scent.
Lilac pulled her knees closer,surrounding herself in blue fire.
Emmy's own black fire crushed Lilac's and heated up to an incredible intensity. When the fire died Lilac was dead.Patrik stared.
Ellis stared at her body,eyes sad. "Lilac.."Shadow cried,knowing it was done and feeling bad for Emmy..and Ellis.
Emmy didn't stop. She had every intention of killing Ellis next. Patrik looked at Salem "Give me Avery. You have to stop Emmy, now"
"I have to stop Emmy? How?" She reluctantly handed him the baby.
"Go talk to her. Sing that shadow song. Anything,"
She nodded, running over. Shadow looked at Emmy and bit her lip, moving ever closer. She started to sing and the song soon took over.Ellis was confused. "Hunter! What the hell is going on!?"
((I gtg for a little while I'll be back later...)))Emmy closed her eyes after a few bars of the song. When she opened them the silver receded.
Hunter shrugged and watched.
((okay. *smiles*))Shadow kept singing, 'gone' again.
Ellis shifted and fixed the collar of his shirt.
((I'm back. u still on?:] ))Emmy watched her as the fire around her slowly died.
Patrik crept closer to them.
Hunter smirked
((sure am!))Ellis walked over Hunter when he could. "What just happened? And why the hell is Salem singing?"
Shadow continued singing. ((tralalala!))
"I think we have the smallest bit of a problem with these ones." Hunter commented.Emmy finally cooled down ((both literaly and metaphorically)) the only changed thing about her was her eyes. Now permenantly rimmed in silver.
Patrik called to Salem "That's enough,"
"Well ya Hunter, we won't get them without the weapons, that's why we brought them."It took her two full minutes to stop, and when she did she fell to her knees.
Emmy didn't move, even after the song ended.Patrik helped Salem up. "Thank you. And are you ok?"
Hunter nodded
"Where's Kherington?" he asked before he saw her and her flaming orange hair.((what's even better about her is that she's English))
Salem clenched her eyes closed; a massive headache.
Avery gurgled.
((Lol WIN!!!))"Yes?" Kher asked
Patrik let her lean on him.
Emmy stood still untill Patrik called her name.
((epic))"I just wanted to know where you were,we'll need you."
"My head..hurts. Frig." She opened her eyes, the gold swirling on the deep purple surfaces.
((Ello. :]))Kher nodded and watched.
Emmy was looking at Patrik, she was somewhat confused.
Patrik sat her down. "Can you hold Avery?"
"When do we move in?" Hunter asked
((*smile*))"Yeah, I can." She held her arms out awkwardly and accepted the child.
"Your call boss, but I'd say soon. Micah said not to waste time."
Patrik went to Emmy's side. "Emmy" He said She looked at him and nearly collapsed in his arms.
Kher smiled and placed her hands on her hips.
"You move in now."
Ellis checked his gun, mking sure the electricity levels were set so they would not kill their victims. He watched as Limerick pulled Teeghan close in a hug, preparing to sedate her.Out of nowhere, Teeghan jerked back, knocking the hand dart from hs hand and to the ground. She made everything extremely loud, taking all their enemies off guard, and changed time jsut enough for her to glide over to Patrik,Emmy and Shadow.
Shadow looked up at her, "That was close."
Limerick turned, "Tee!"
Patrik looked up at Teeghan. Worry etched on every line of his face.Kher smiled devilishly.
Teeghan made it quiet only for her friends. "What's wrong Patrik?"
"We are screwed." Patrik said smoothly. HUnter moved in.
"just a little bit.." Teeghan said,using sarcasm to make it a bit more bearable.Ellis shot at Teeghan, knowing he'd pay for it later, but he couldn't stand the noise. She fell, unconscious from the blast.
Patrik just stood there, running wouldn't do anything.Kher stood there sending calm vibes out to them all. A smug smile slid across her face.
Limerick glared at Ellis but accepted that he could deal with his friend later.
Shadow fought the emotions and won for a little bit. "That's cheap," she mumbled into Avery's blanket,pretending to be calm.
Kher boosted her powers. HUnter moved in and grabbed Emmy and someone else grabbed Patrik.
Shadow set up a temporary mind block, stubbornly wanting to know what was happening and be SANE. she allowed her self to sink and loosen for a quick moment.Ellis took the baby from Shadow and she didn't fight him, knowing it'd give her more time.
Limerick shot Blaze.
A white van and a black one soon were on the scene.
((hey, where's Liv? cause if she's far enough from Kher, Shadow can put a block on her too..))
((She is far away from Kher. She has been taken by some Troop ppl...))Patriks eyes flicked to Salem and he shot a wink at her.
((oh, darn..haha))She blinked slowly and lifted her head slightly, having sensed a small lift anyway. The lift soon droped though and she went with it.
She felt someone grab her and fought the instinct to kill the person as they dragged her towards the van.
Patrik was thrown in the Van Emmy was placed in after.
Shadow felt and saw the metal cuffs as they were tightened around her wrists. Deja vu much?The vans started.
Patrik's hands were bound with Plastic. That didn't have any water in it. Nothing was done to Emmy, she wouldn't be a problem for a while.
She tried to send a thought to Patrik. Patrik, can you 'hear' me?
Just wanted to know if that was a real wink, not a twitch..good to know someone is aware...we'll have little to no chance once we are at HQ..but there is still SOME. Don't give up.
I won't. The powers dont work on me. Or Emmy.
Good.Except for the Readers and Seers of course. she smiled slightly in the dark. But that is a good thing for me. We're almost there..that's what they are talking about in here.
