"Good, but he's planning something big," Gwen said. "We should find the others. I have a feeling we're going to need as much help as we can get.
Teeghan shook her head," No, it's fine." her eyes sparkled. "I know it's a girl, Sha-Salem told me."
"Alright" Rife said taking her hand and walking."How could Salem tell? And you can call her Shadow, we just don't like that name." liv shrugged
She grinned. "No, everyone calls her Salem, and she's a seer, that's how she knew..nevermind."
Drake felt a tingling, he stopped and looked around. "Hello, Is anyone there?"

((hahaha, I got it by the end of my post..))"It was Limerick and Whitney, but he didn't want to! He didn't know." she felt the need to defend him even though she hadn't really given any of the story away.
"Liv is somewhere as always, AN dPatrik and Emmy are togther in the Warehouse." He answered"Teeghan, you forget I have no clue what you are talking about..." Liv said holding up a hand.
"Sorry. Okay..so it's a long-ish story. Can we stop running?"
"Yeah," liv stopped instantly "So.. what happened?"
"Yes, Warehouse." Rife nodded walking into it.
Teeghan stopped also. "So one night, a Thursday in December, a bunch of us girls had a slumber party." she made a face. "It was really girly and Whitney insisted on a fashion show, no contacts." She realized this might not make sense to Liv, so she took out her brown contacts, revealing abnormally beautiful azure blue eyes. "Colours like this are a sure sign of being gifted, and with all the laws, we'd be dead without these. So we listened, after all, we are all 'Dancers'. It was fun, Whitney took pictures." She took in a deep breath. "She only printed some, and we thought they were for us, but she gave them to Limerick, told him to pass them on to..to Cobra. He did, not knowing what was in it and they came. During gym class, every gifted person in the class was scared, even the older ones."Teeghan needed to stop for a moment.

Liv's eyes widened. "Just your eyecolor?" Liv's own eye color was not that much different than Teeghan's.
"Shadow." She said, a hint of a smile on her lips.
Gwen followed Rife in, "Why a warehouse?"
"You're not a shadow..." Drake said suprising himself.

"Wait this is Salem we are talking about right?" Liv asked trying to keep up. Her time was so much diferent than this one.
"Yeah, and the reason I'm laughing is probably not what you are thinking," she said, sobering considerably. "It's just that, they tased her..and it didn't work. I bet you can imagine how pissed she was, she almost beat the kid, Kensington or whatever..annoying english twit..anyway, Oxford hit her with a shovel and they dragged her to their headquarters. It was then that she changed her name."
"Well, Emmy just killed both of those guys." Liv said trying to connect everything.
"Really? Good. Little basta-" she smiled. "Anyways, the meaning behind it, so Limerick told me, cause Kenny boy was a reader too, was that Salem felt like she was just a 'shadow' of who she was before..she felt betrayed and such. Anyways, I refuse to call her that."
"Ah, I understand now. In your time were lots of people gifted?" Liv asked
"No, not actually. Cobra and Torch try to stamp out the population, but since her parents worked for them they decided to use her for testing."
"That sounds like what happened to Emmy.." Liv trailed off. "Cobra and Torch are they Norms or Gifted?"
"A mix, they started out with just humans, but determined that the best way to weed out gifted people was to use gifted people.Friggin' jerks. Traitors." she looked up. "That happened to Emmy?"
"Are they everywhere now?" Gwen asked.

"I only know what she's told me." Liv started she bit her lip. "Her mother was a freakishly gifted Fire elemental and her father a Fighter. Her mother went on a raid of some camp and she was captured. They took her and kept her for nine months. During that time they did experiments on them both." Liv stopped and ran a hand through her blonde hair. "Emmy's mother was let go just before she was going to have Emmy. Her father was beside himself when she was born. She was his child yet they had put in her Shadow. It's what makes up her tatoos. Thats why if she freaks too much, we could loose her." Liv looked at her sadly.
Teeghan was shocked. "Um, I'm kinda confused about the whole Shadow deal.."

"I honestly have no clue. But I'm going to guess that that they just injected it into her mother and it got to her and stayed there." Liv thought for a second and then realized something. "Shadows aren't people. They are a thing. They just inhabit people. It's like a disease.." She struggled for the correct wording.
