"How've been doing?" he asked seriously
Josiah looked at her and shook his head breifly.
Emmy put Eliana down ..."
Farrow shrugged. "I've been...fine. You?"
"Hold him then," Salem smiled softly. "He needs to meet his Daddy."

Matt turned his iPod up as loud as it would go, blasting Fall Out Boy.

"You're on the brink of lying." then he paused "I've been all over the place. Both litteraly and figuratively"
Josiah nodded and kissed her forehead. Moving over to his son's crib he looked down into it. Smiling slightly he reached in and scooped Logan up into his arms. He seemed so small, like if Josiah held him too tight he would be crushed. Moving slowly and easily he took his spot next to Salem again.
Emmy watched them thinking about her life and how she had ended up in this weirdly happy place.
((You don't have to ignore me in the Roleplay though. Hehe. I'm working on my report, promise.))
Abby walked through the doors of the school, and scanned the crowded hallways for Matt. She mentally flicked herself for thinking she could find him in this giant crowd of kids, and willed herself to stay calm and find her English class.

"But I didn't lie," she shrugged. "But you're good now?"
Logan was sleeping peacefully. Somehow, he was just that kind of kid. Maybe it had something to do with the mysterious sickness.

Abby walked through the doors of the school, and scanned the crowded hallways for Matt. She mental..."
((You betta'!))
Matt walked through the doors to see Abby standing there, all alone. He considered slipping by, merging with the crowd.
She pulled out the schedule she had tucked into her pants and headed towards the room number that was marked down. She was about to take off her headphones and head into class when someone opened the door, almost hitting her. It missed, but the way the guy looked at her was enough to make her freeze up, standing motionless, as the music played.

Josiah felt as if he was stuck in this crazyily euphoric place that he never wanted to leave.

((I hafta go! I'mma go take a showa'!))

Josiah felt as if he was stuck in this crazy..."
Farrow sighed, watching him. "How can you be so casual?"
Salem rested her head on his arm.
Abby blushed, feeling like an idiot when Matt appeared behind her. She stepped into the room when he nudged her forwards and took a seat in the back, mumbling a quick thank you, before laying her head down on her desk as the song switched.
Abby let herself completely zone out and get sucked into the song. She was fairly good at English anyways, it wouldn't hurt her to not pay attention.

Josiah felt as if he was ..."
Patrik laughed a little
"I'm getting good at it aren't I?" he paused then shook his head and said "You may not lie, but that doesn't stop the rest of us."
Josiah smiled a little.
It was then that Emmy understood how her mother did what she did. How she had given everything, including her children to those horrible people.

Logan made a quiet cooing sound, his mouth opening and closing, his tiny pink tongue peeking out over his pouting lips.

Matt took out a notebook and started doodling.
Suddenly, the music stopped and Abby was jolted back to reality. She looked at her iPod. It had died. "Drat," she muttered.

"It's more of a cover up than a lie..." he edited
Josiah smiled again."
"It's not funny, Patrik."
Logan coughed in his baby way.
She took the headphones out of her ears and shoved her iPod in her pocket and drummed her fingers on her desk.

Josiah ran a finger down Logan's cheek.

Josiah ran a finger down Logan's cheek."
"Not really."
The baby boy moved his face so his mouth found Josiah's finger.

Matt went back to doodling. Then, he remembered he hated doodling and sighed.
Emmie (AKA Clementine/Connie/You) wrote: "Lav Stathopoulos (Lavendarlol) wrote: "She took the headphones out of her ears and shoved her iPod in her pocket and drummed her fingers on her desk."

"Nice drawing," Abby said, in a dry whisper.

"What is it then?" he was almost annoyed
Josiah laughed silently.
Ever heard of sarcasm? Abby thought, but she couldn't bring herself to say it out loud, even in a joking way.
The teacher handed out a grammar worksheet and told them to do the first 5 questions, and then they'd discuss them in class. Abby scanned the worksheet, reading the instructions. Apparently her old school was slightly behind on what grammar they were teaching, because she had no idea what a subject compliment was.

"What is it then?" he was almost annoyed
Josiah laughed silently."
She chuckled, amused at that of all things.
Logan began to suck on Josiah's fingertip.

((Emmie had no idea either.))
Matt got to work.
((Right. That's high school English stuff. I can't remember anything from middle school.))
Abby looked over at Matt. He seemed to know what he was doing. She wrote down what he had put for his first answer.

((It's... augh, my brain is off. It's like in this sentence: Emmie is a unicorn. Unicorn is the subject compliment because it comes after the verb and renames the subject, Emmie. It's... easier to understand when my English teacher explains it.))
After the first couple of answers, Abby thought she saw a pattern so she did the rest of the questions by herself.

Matt finished and drummed his fingers on the desk.
((Yep.))
The teacher started to explain the first answer and Abby tried to pay attention and understand how it worked, but she was clueless.

She sat up and raised her hand, asking if she could go to the bathroom. When she got permission she reached into her backpack, pulled out her book, and walked out of the classroom. She looked around until she found a bench in the corner, and sat down on it to read. She had learned from experience teachers never thought the kids reading for fun were skipping class.
