"Yeah," she lifted it and rubbed it absently. "He works." Salem leaned into him.
Josiah felt as if that were the most natural thing in the world to have her next to him. Nodding he looked at her, his arm going round her waist to steady her and pull her closer.
"Thanks....for everything..." she said quietly. This felt good. So. Good.
"You're very welcome." Josiah said just as softly. He didn't want to let her go, not after everything that had just happened. It was like they said you never knew what you were missing untill it was handed to you then ripped away.
Salem turned around, still held within the confines of his arm. She wasn't sure if this was a good time for kissing, but she chanced it anyway, kissing his cheek first to test the waters.
Josiah closed his eyes breifly, when he opened them they burned from the inside. It wasn't bad as it usually was, it was good but intense and raw at the same time. He placed his hand on her cheek and kissed her lips, gently but full of everything he couldn't say.
With a small gasp she kissed him back, throwing her arms around his neck. Salem closed her eyes, savouring the moment.
With his arms around her waist he picked her up the tiniest bit, his lips never moving from hers.Emmy stopped in the middle of talking and smiled
"Damn Salem..." then she nodded and went back to Patrik.
((haha. Emmy.))Her grip on him tightened for just a moment and then she tangled one of her hands in his hair. How could I have ever hated him?
((She couldn't help it...))Josiah let her feet hit the ground again. For the first time, he was here, all of him. There wasn't the struggle for power that raged aorund him, nothing mattered more than she did.

Salem was aware that she was lost. She was lost in him and she had no desire to get out. Ever.

Josiah pulled back a smile more real than one before it was already lightig up his face.

Declan shook his head "No it's not."
Josiah kissed her again softly
"Tell me somewhere you want to go." he whispered "Anywhere"
DEclan nodded"May I come in?" he asked smiling slightly at her
"Anywhere? Really?" Salem pursed her lips and looked up at him. "Anywhere?"
Dani smiled at him. "Right. SOrry, come on in."
Josiah nodded pushing her hair away from her face"Anywhere." he promised
Declan walked in and looked around he smiled at her
His touch --so light on her face-- sent tingles through her. "There's this place in London, England..."

"Ok." Josiah nodded putting his arms around her"We'll find it when we get there." he said as the vanished.
In their demension one second and on a back street in london the next.

Salem gasped, totally unlike herself in that moment. "I remember this place...which might have been weird except I ran away a lot."
Declan took her hand"So what did I pull you away from?" he asked

Josiah grinned a little
"Most of us tended to do that. But you lived here?" he asked
"Doing math homework. WIth a massive headache."
"I lived in a place that doesn't look like what it really is," Salem said, adopting Farrow's cryptic way of speaking. She didn't notice.
Declan made a face"That just makes it that much worse. What kind of math?" he asked
Josiah laughed quietly noticing the similarity
"Oh yeah? so what does it look like?" he asked
"Nothing bad. Pre-algebra, but still. My brain doesn't do that well with a hangover."
"Like a normal office building and a hotel all smashed together on a photo editing site."
Declan looked at her"All math is bad."
Josiah nodded getting the image in his head
"That sounds like a pretty prison..."
"It was," she sighed, leaning into him again, unused to support. "And it scared me."
Josiah knew the feeling, and it wasn't something you wanted to have to admit to anyone. Let alone know the one you loved had to deal with the same thing. He wrapped his arm around her protectively, comfortingly, like it was the most natural thing in the world.
She rested her head against his chest, closing her eyes. "I think we should just...walk...to where we're headed."
Josiah stroked her hair listening to her breathing for a moment before quietly saying"Alright. We can do that."

Dani laughed. "SO true. I mean, what's the point of teaching kids math after fourth grade, if they won't be math teachers?"
DEclan nodded"My thoughts exactly. All I ever do is add, subtract. Though admittedly more subtracting then adding, deviding and if I'm Really lucky, I can multiply the amount of dollars in the bank. Other than that...."

Salem took his hand and started walking in the direction she thought the place was.
Josiah walked next to her, his thumb tracing circles on the back of her hand.
She stopped after they'd walked for a while. "It's this place," she murmured, eyes bright again. Salem pulled him up the walkway which was crowded with slightly overgrown flowers and weeds.
Josiah looked up at it."What is it?" he asked
Salem smiled just the tiniest bit. "It's a store."

((tehe))"Everything," she shrugged, pulling him inside. Once they'd entered they were surrounded by many scents and smells.
