Roleplay with characters from your story

"Elly?" He asked gently.
Emmy woke up with a start, eyes darting to the door. Expecting a Shadow to walk in eyes flashing brandishing some new torture device.
"D-don't hurt me, please, please!" Elly whimpered, tears streaming down her cheeks. All she could see was the Rife that had been in her dream.

"It's alright Elly, it was just a dream."
He knelt down infront of her.

Elly laughed quietly. "That's a pretty big mistake to make..." She was so tired from crying, and ..."
Salem heard him do this and tried to smile, sleep catching her before she could.

How long was I out? She looked down at her clothes there was a large rip down one leg and the bottom of the other was singed. Her head hurt, well hurt wasn't the word for it, her head was POUNDING.
She cringed away from him and shut her eyes tight. "No..." she whispered. "Please- don't touch me."

She relaxed slightly and leaned against the wall, shivering, unwilling to look at him.

Emmy looked around, desperately searching for answers. She didn't find any, the pounding in her head just got worse. The door opened slowly Emmy's vision was tunneling and she had no idea who was walking through that door. Then a thought hit her Salem.
Salem, can you hear me? Emmy prayed she could.
She finally opened her eyes, having calmed down slightly. "It wasn't real... wasn't true. Was it?" She looked at Rife with uncertain eyes.

Ya?

"Y-you were going to hurt me. You said that I disgusted you... that I was unlovable. Pathetic. The look on your face... you hated me." She shuddered and looked into his eyes, seeing none of what she had seen in her dream.

Salem's dream interrupted again, at the worst time possible.
Waverley pulled Connie's hand. "What we doing?"

You can do it Em.

Elly nodded. "I... I know. That's why it hurt as bad as it did."

Rife nodded
"You don't need to worry about me. I won't hurt you."
Few days? You left almost five minutes ago. Maybe longer. Nevermind, I'm seriously messed up right now. Emmy rolled away from the knife but it knicked her side sending searing pain through her body.

Emmy cringed gripping her side. The man lowered the blade and slid it up her untattooed arm. Another wave of pain raked through her body.

Emmy writhed on the floor. She wanted to scream, and yell, but most of all she wanted to make the pain stop.

Yeah you look like her. You just have different eyes. She's harsher.

((Back for a little bit.))
Elly summoned a smile. "I know." A faint tingling sensation, the remnants of dream pain, burned her cheek. She put a hand to it.

((You can make your own, Lauren, and we'll pull them in if you can, okay?))
Elly bit her lip and tried not to remember her dream any more. "It hurts to think about the dream..." she whispered, "but I can't stop. There was more than what I told you. So much more..."

She hesitated. "You don't want to hear it. I'll cry again... and the rest- it's memories. They're horrible. I don't think you want to hear." She bit her lip. She wanted to tell him.
She took a deep breath, then nodded. "I... there was a man. I never knew his name... he was the one who was training me to use my power. It was always just me and him. He scared me so much..."
((I'll be disappearing soon, so I'm not doing the whole story all at once.))

Elly fell into a dream, and it was not a happy one. All the memories that had been stirred up condensed to make one horrible nightmare.
She looked up at a man, and saw a hungry smile on his face. Hungry for violence, drinking in her fear. She shuddered and realized that she was on the floor, and that her face stung from a slap to her cheek.
"I- I didn't mean to!" she protested, "I can't control it yet!"
He growled. "Well, I will teach you. If you won't listen to orders, you will listen to threats! And threats are useless if the person being threatened can't be sure that they'll be carried out..." He stalked nearer to her.
"Don't hurt me!" she cried, putting her hands up in fear, "Please!"
The scene changed, and she was strapped down to a chair. The same man glared at her when she didn't use her power immediately. "It's not something I can do any time!" She protested, "It takes concentration! I can't concentrate when I'm so- so scared..."
He laughed harshly. "You're scared now? You don't even have any reason to be... except that you're strapped down in a chair, alone with me and no-one else to tell me not to touch you." He took a step closer to her.
She closed her eyes and turned her face away, trembling. "Don't..."
He slapped her. "Time to shut up now, Liz..."
She gasped, eyes flying open. "Don't touch me!" she shouted, eyes burning with fury.
He laughed harshly. "Sorry... Oh, wait, no I'm not. And I'll touch you all I want. After all, you won't listen. A child who disobeys is punished."
"No... don't hurt me." Tears welled in her eyes.
He laughed again. "Poor little Lizzie... can't stay angry for long, can you?"
She flinched away as he wiped the tears away.
Then the scene changed, and it was Rife standing in front of her, his eyes blazing. She looked at him fearfully, the tears streaming down her face now. "R-rife?"
He glared at her. "Do you really think I love you, Elizabeth? How can anyone love such a pathetic girl as you? You cry whenever your face stings a little, or if you're scared, and you never stand up and fight. You're pathetic. Ridiculous. Unlovable. Yes, just as you always feared. You disgust me. I just didn't have the heart to tell you."
He smirked and advanced towards her.
"No!"
She woke with a cry, disentangling herself from Rife's arms, across the room in seconds, cowering in the corner.
