Salem glared at him. Patrik, the least you could do to 'not hurt' me would be to unfreeze my feet.

Salem stood on her toes, balancing and moving from one foot to the other, giving him time, though she waas probably the one who needed it.
Orange flames licked around his feet and caught on his pants as Salem jumped backwards just in time.
Patrik looked down at the flame and it went out as quickly as it had started."Fine we'll play like that."
Water snaked up Salem's ankles.
She raised his, her own teeth chattering until she managed to fight for some control over her own temp.
Patrik growled and forced his back down his eyes swirling into a clear white. Hers was still dropping and his was going back down to normal.
Salem stopped focussing on him, no longer able to, and instead worked on herself, raising her temperature enough to think.
Patrik wasn't giving up that easilly. He flicked his other hand and the water from the air condensed and surrounded her.
Salem managed to pull heat from the surrounding living things, drawing off the sunny day. well then, talk about dirty fighting.
Patrik growled and the Weather CHANGED it fit his mood perfectly. A huge, frigid thunderstorm dotted with lightning.
How wonderful, normally I'd thank you. But you know how it is. She frowned, teeth beginning to chatter again. Salem stepped tentatively away from Patrik.
"Just making sure." Patrik filled the wind with icy rain drops. They hit the skin and left a small sting, like when you drove in a car during a light rain and stuck your hand out the window.
"Damn." She blocked her thoughts from Sean, knowing that if he knew what she was thinking, he'd try to intervene.
Patrik could tell what she was thinking though, and he didn't think twice about it. She had volunteered for this.
((indeed she did, that's why she won't let Sean listen :P))She let the wind drop, taking with it the frozen droplets.
((hehe Salem needs to think before she says some things... :P ))Patrik crossed his arms. The rain still fell, making every article of clothing he wore stick to him and his hair plaster itself to his forehead and neck.
((yes.she does indeed.but at least she keeps her promises.plus, I think she's a little emotional right now.VERY emotional..lol))Carefully she pulled heat from the house and anything that still held it, including Patrik. "I've always loved the rain. Odd."
"I do too." Patrik said not minding the sudden cold. He figured out what she was doing and closed his fist, and taking with it all the heat from the surrounding areas.((yea, which is good. Emmotions can be used and made into Power.))
((ya, bu tshe's cold..lol she needs to warm up first :P O'm workin' on it))"They'll freeze." she said simply. "How careless."
"Rife and Liv, they'll figure it out." Patrik said shrugging. They had been trained for this, it wasn't that big a deal.
Salem knew she'd have to get upset to even have a chance against Patrik, but she was just so cold. She pushed thoughts into Patrik's head. Random ones, sad ones, scary ones and even the odd tv commercial. Soon she ran out of non-life disturbing thoughts. But it should at least bug him for a moment of two. Maybe longer, maybe not.
Patrik shook his head, putting up a block to keep the thoughts away. It didn't distract him for as long as she hoped it would.((Salem should send him a bunch of thought with Emmy from when Salem was with teh Shadows. That'll wreck him.))
((I know, that's why she stopped. those were the so called 'life disturing ones' she feels bad. it'll get to that point though))"You made me," she whispered, her body shaking with shivers. Thoughts of Emmy. Not the best ones either. She wormed them through his block, adding more and more every nanosecond.
Patrik's hands flew to his head and his eyes closed. He flinched inwardly hands infront of his face as if that could stop the thoughts from being put into his brain.
"I'm sorry," Salem said, and she knew he could have heard her. She sank to the ground. Cold as..not hell, but someplace just as bad, that's cold.
Patrik tried to shake them off. they just stuck in his brain like cactus spines, just as invisible and just, if not more, painful.
Her mind rang breifly with thoughts that seemed urgent. But she couldn't think. Salem let herself fall prone and slid her eyes closed, hoping for a clarity she didn't recieve.
Patrik stood up, slowly and then picked Salem up holding her between both of his arms and carried her inside.
Teeghan stood just inside, having just heated up Avery's bottle. "What happened? I was sleeping..what'd I miss?" She ignored a pointed look from Ellis and waited for an answer.Salem vaguely felt him pick her up, but she couldn't resist him.
"Fight," Patrik said tiredly. "She just needs to sleep, I think I went a little too far." he sighed laying her down on the couch.
Teeghan shrugged. "Hope y'all had fun." she went to feed Avery.Sleep. How wonderful. she removed the block from her mind, just in case.
"If we don't wake up for a while don't freak out." Patrik mumbled walking up the stairs.I go to say something but find my mouth won't work and I'm back in my real prison again
Emmy didn't wake up, she just stayed inbetween dreams and reality.
Nephilim wrote: ""And here I though I could just turn off this feeling. My mistake." Rife winked"
Elly laughed quietly. "That's a pretty big mistake to make..." She was so tired from crying, and she yawned, putting a hand over her mouth.
It had taken all the will-power Sean had to not go and tell Salem to stop. He had watched, and listened for as long as he could. He ran to Salem's side when Patrik laid her on the couch, and he sat on the floor beside it, taking her hand.
His eyes widened when he felt how cold she was, and he went to find her some blankets. He spread them over her and then carefully moved her just a little so that he could sit down and lay her head in his lap. He stroked her hair and looked down at her tenderly.

She sighed quietly and nodded once. "If you don't mind..." she whispered, "I think I'm going to go to sleep on you."
She smiled and didn't reply, her breathing already slowing.
