He shook his head. "Want to ask the others? They've been waiting as long as I. Oh... is Emmy with you? Patrik was worse than I was. I don't ever even see him. He hides from the world without her."

Salem shook her head. "It was only a week.." she insisted, tearful and questioning herself.
Patrik ran out of the house, at the sound of hearing Salem's voice, praying Emmy had come back to him. He skidded to a stop in the doorway, instantly needing it for support. She wassn't there, it was like loosing her all over again. "Salem...?"
Patrik stared at her."How did you-?"
Sean took her hand, looking at Patrik and then back and Salem. "No... it wasn't."
The tears came again, full force. "No..."
"Maybe- maybe it was for you. It wasn't for us."
"I- Emmy. She talked to the Queen. We both did. It-it didn't, she threatened you Patrik.."
Sean frowned. "They didn't... hurt you, did they? I swear, I'll kill them all if they even thought about-"
Patrik went rigid he was now only half hearing everything"tell me she didn't.."
Liv ran out of the house
"Salem, oh my god..."
"I-" she couldn't speak anymore, overcome with s\her body's need to cry.
Liv's hands went to cover her mouth looking back at the two boys.Patrik sagged against the doorframe his eyes closing.
"Sorry," she exclaimed, turning and running a few steps, stooping to throw up.
Patrik put a hand on her shoulder sending her calm feelings. Trying to help in a small way.
Sean went to her and pulled her hair out of her face. His face was sad. "Salem... come inside," he said when she was done. "I'll get you a drink."
Patrik helped. That and Sean's soothing words. "I'm sorry.." she whispered, ever apologizing.
Patrik removed his hand"Don't be." He was quiet, like a ghost of himself nowadays. It was a startling transformation.
"Don't apologize. Please. Just- come on, love." Sean took her hand, then remembered something. "Oh- Ellis is with us."
Salem didn't like how this was affecting them, especially not Patrik. Nothing was the same and it was just damn annoying. "I noticed."
Liv walked up next to Salem smiling a little"Hey, welcome back."
Patrik had left, going god knows where.
Emmy faced the Queen anger in her every move
"Now I'm done with the cryptic meanings. What do you need from me?"
"We need access to the Rune Room," The Queen said simply
"I don't know how I even got there let alone go back." Emmy told her.
Sean sighed. "I... everyone will want to greet you. We've missed you so much. Come on in."
Salem looked at Liv, grateful for another girl there. Uncharacteristically, she held her hand out to Liv. Just a week..
Liv took it with a grin. "Weird the time difference right?" She asked seriously but quietly.
"So I'm not just crazy?" she whispered back.
"No your not. Trust me. Its one of the bigger differences. YOu think you were there a week maybe two? To us you were gone three almost four months." Liv said looking at her.
"Ouch," her eyes filled again. "And they- Patrik and Sean- how'd they fare?"
"Sean took it way better than Patrik. Sean does things, like talk and laugh on occasion. But Patrik, I don't even see him anymore. I've never seen him like this, its not going to end well Salem." Liv told her slowly trying to think her way through the words.
((Sorry I was gone a bit. I'm back.))
Sean was hanging back a bit, unwilling to leave Salem's side. He listened to the girls talk, but he didn't speak.

The Queen looked at Emmy"That is where we come in. Particularly myself, I know what you did to Salem when you originally went there and I can duplicate that."
Emmy's eyes widened then said
"That room, it has a mind of it's own, it will know."
((its ok))Rife stood looking at Elly
"Is that Salem? I swore I just heard Patrik and Liv say her name."
((gtg guys. I'll be on later))"I know Liv. I just still had to ask."

"Ok, maybe you can help..? I don't know what to do, neither does Rife, he's our leader, and when he's like this- Maybe you can talk to him? He listens to you, I know he does."
((last post, most likely))Salem nodded. "Of course I'll talk to him." Her thoughts went to the little girl from the dream and she knew, just knew, that if the girl was there, it would be brighter here.
((Aw, bye! I'm getting a snack and some tea anyways... so it's okay. XD))
Elly jumped up. "I don't know." She bit her lip. "Let's go see!"
Sean smiled. "Elly and Rife are coming to see you, Salem."
Elly jumped up. "I don't know." She bit her lip. "Let's go see!"
Sean smiled. "Elly and Rife are coming to see you, Salem."
"What? I am-" she stopped, noticing that Liv was right and she was tensed. "Can't help it."

Sean smiled and took a few steps away to leave room for the others who were coming.
Gawd. A bundle of happiness. Just what I needed. NOT. Salem pasted on a smile. "Hello Elly," but even a two year old could tell she was upset.
Rife stared "Is Emmy-?"
"No, Rife." Liv said
Elly bit her lip and stayed behind. "Hi," she whispered, suddenly sad. "I- I should let you get inside."
