Rose moved next to Lilly. Out of a pocket she pulled a small picture out. She kissed it sofly and placed it back ino her pocket they she tared out of the window at the noght sky.
"I've slept enough today I won't be able to sleep untill late tonight," Gwen pointed out.
Liv laughed "YOu can stay up with Emmy, she never sleeps,""It's true.I think I've seen her sleep three times in five years," Patrik said
"Wait." Rose said now sitting up. "How long have you guys been a part of Lyrs?" She said this softly not wanting to wake Lilly up.((Did I spell Lyrs right?))
((yeah you did))"We've always been Lyrs. Lyrs is just the term for element manipulators. This group, has been together for what seven years? Emmy has been with us for five," Patrik said to Rose
"Wow is right. I'm suprised we are all still alive," Rife chuckled
Rose nodded remembering all the people whe had wanted to 'adopt' them.
"I'm glad you are," Gwen said. "Without them, I probably wouldn't be alive." Gwen looked up into Rife's eyes.
He grabbed her hadn and said "Want to take a walk?"
"Why not," She said smiling then walked toward the small forrest near the gas station with Rife.
"So, who's turn is it?" He asked as they got into the trees
"I lost track," Gwen said. "You want to start us again?"
"What's it like being a Lyr," She asked.
"It's completly freeing," He said "Almost liek nothing can touch you. Like being on an everlasting high," He replied
"That sounds amazing," She said thinking, completely free, I wish I were free.
"It is," Rife said looking up at the sky.
She smiled," So it's worth all of the things you have to fight."
"Totally,then there are all teh people you meet," he said smiling at her. Then He leaned down and brushed kiss on her lips.
Gwen looked up at him and smiled faintly, her eyes looking far away.

((ok))Rife smiled at her. "I'm sorry,"
"It's not you, well, it kind of is," Gwen tried to explain. "It's just that you remind me so much of Grant, you even look like him."
"He was my best friend, well more than that, I loved him," She confided.
"I think you wouldn've liked him, he likes the outdoors," She teased.
"Oh he's all good then," Rife laughed
"Yeah, he's the one that helped me run away you know," Gwen said. "He wouldn't let me go alone."
"What happened to him? When we found you you were alone." Rife leaned against a tree
"I don't know, I wole up one day and he was gone, just like that," She said sadly. "That was when Andrew showed up." She said the last part angrily, her eyes flashing.
"And Andrew is? That guy that came after you?" Rife asked crossing his arms and shaking hair out of his eyes.
"Yes, that was him," She said shaking her head. "I still can't believe he turned out to be such an evil person."
"How can't you believe it? He just radiated evil," Rife shook his head.
"He wasn't always like that, I noticed a change after he met my father," Gwen said thinking back.
"What? Your father did that much damage?" Rief asked incredolous
"He has that affect on people," Gwen said looking at him, her eyes getting that bright blue for a moment.
"What was he?" Rife asked knowing that question would end some of his confusion.
"Same as me, a Pursueder," Gwen said. "Grandmother always said he wanted to learn too much, I think that's why she held back with me."
"When he was 18 he ran away too, but to learn from a different person since my grandmother wouldn't teach him anymore," Gwen explaind more fully. "He's the most powerful Pursueder I know, he can pursuede other Pursueders, which means he can pursuede anyone. So be careful if you ever run into him," She warned
"I'll remember that." Rife said seriously "Did he ever pursuade you?"
"Not that I can remember," Gwen said, "But he has pursueded many others, that's why all of the bills he proposes get passed. And why Grant never met him."
"Wait he's in the government?" He asked dumbfounded"And you people wonder why your government is going down the tubes."
"I want to help, but if I say anything, he can just purseude people back to thinking what he wants them to think," Gwen said exasperated. "It's like there's nothing I can do."
