Salem tensed and then respectively relaxed moments later. "Hmmm..."

Mackenna sat on the floor, watching.

"Better?" Patrik asked taking two asprin and drinking some water.
Patrik thanked Mackenna again.

"Yeah...more than a little." she whispered.

Mackenna nodded. "The least I could do."

[Hannah]

"Good." Patrik nodded.
Patrik sat back and rested his head against the wall. His eyes still on the computer screen.

Salem, though a little groggy, searched for Emmy's thoughts. Emmy?

"Anything interesting?" Mackenna asked.

[Hannah]

"Salem..." Even that was difficult. "I'm not going to be able to keep this up.."

"Not that I know of." Patrik said

[Ky]

What is it Emmy..? What do you have to keep up? she was worried.

Mackenna nodded silently.

[Hannah]

"Talking, thinking even. It hurts Salem. Everything hurts. I feel like I'm being... suffocated almost. I'm scared, really scared." I say slowly her words making it to me as if through water.

"Something is really wrong." Patrik said again as if they didn't know.

I know it hurts..I have an idea. Salem opened her eyes. "Patrik?" she aid dimly.

"Yeah?" Patrik answered looking up.

I look down at myself. My vison is blurring, silver lines mix with black and I'm close to sliping again.

"Mind emailing Cobra? Emmy's in too much pain." she ignored the weakness in ehr voice: loathing it.

[Hannah]

Patrik sighed and his eyes closed against the pain that came with Emmy's. "Mackenna? Would you mind?"

[Ky]

"Go ahead, if it'll help."

She laid her head back,slightly satisfied, and soon Salem was sound asleep.

Patrik typed the thing up and then had Mackenna send it. He put his head against the wall.
"I can't believe this happened." He said to no one.

Mackenna nodded.

Salem didn't dream this time thanks to the morphine.

Kher heard her computer bing with the arrival of another Email. She opened it and read it quickly then she jumped up and went down to observation. She grabbed some morphine and injected it into Emmy's arm.


Patrik didn't stay sitting down for long. He couldn't he was way to restless.

"Do you want to walk around?" Mackenna finally asked.

Patrik grinned at her "Please?" He answered.


Kher texted Mackenna saying that Emmy had gotten the morphine.

"Sure, anything." she stood and opened the door, having Anika come sit with Salem.

Mackenna opened her phone. "Emmy got the morphine. Let's hope for the best."

[Hannah]

"Thank you." He said as he walked out of the door.
"Yeah let's." Patrik nodded. "So, i need something to talk about that isn't Emmy.."

Sean waited for a while, impatiently, but Salem had been taken so far away that he couldn't hear her. After a while he gave up waiting and said to Gwen and Jack. "I need to see Salem. Now. I can't hear her and I'm worried. Let me go see her." he added, as an after thought, "Please."
