Erek, startled by the girl, dropped his scythe unexpectedly and cut off his toe. He screamed at Kira "In my pack!"
Kira, unfased and uncaring about the cut toe raised her brow higher than before/"The hell you screaming about?"
He took of his shoe and took of his bloody sock and wiggled it around until a small phalange fell out. He motioned towards his pack and said "In between my laptop and my cat is a first aid kit! Careful! It's bigger on the inside! MUCH BIGGER!" He said clenching his foot
(soz i was gone for so long ~~ i was watching a drama))Kira raised a brow but sighed. Weirdo. She took the first aid kit out with an annoyed look on her face and offered it to him.
Erek opened up the kit and took out lots of items. He poured rubbing alcohol on his stump, wiped it off with some towels, and got out a needle and began to stitch his toe back on. After wards his stood up and stumbled a little, before collapsing his scythe and putting it in his pack. He asked "What's your name?" To Kir

Kira gave a distgusted looked."Why do you want ot know? You tell me your name first!"
The boy had said "Fine, my names Erek, and seeing as how you just made me cut my toe off, I'd say you owe me"
Kira's lip twitched into a scowl under her ninja mask kakashi thingy thingy. "My name is Kira, and it was you who lost concentration. If it was me I wouldn't have lost consentration like that"
"Well jeez, okay. You have better concentration or whatever." Erek said. There was a meowing heard from his backpack, he walked over to it, opened it, and took out a black cat and carried it in his arms like a baby then he said "Oh and say hi to Pixel" he said holding her up slightly
Kira bit her lip, wanting to say something snide to this weirdo. like... who the f keeps cats ikn their bags?! She glared at hhim with her cold black eyes."WHuy are you so weird?"! she demanded
"Well that's because that's me, and besides, she has PLENTY of room in there! How do you expect me to store my Colonel Sassacre's Daunting Text of Magical Frivolity and Practical Japery? A book that weighs hundreds of pounds?" Erek said pulling the enormous book out and holding it like Atlas would hold the world whilst remembering a certain gang
Kira raised a brow."The hell is that?" she looked with weirded out curiosity at the book. She herself had never seen sucha thick book.
"Its my keepsake! I got it from a man when reaping a man who told me to give it to his son, however, his son died before I could give it to him. So I've kept it, ever since, wondering what to do with it" Erek said sagely

Rubbing her temples and subsequently completely messing up her brilliantly blonde hair, Ramiel was muttering anxiously to her breath as she ran up onto the roof. "No no no, no more. So much bad, all the pain. Too much, oh God how do they live with it! No more. No more." Now, usually she wasn't that bad. She could speak perfectly normal, and having a conversation with her was like having one on anything else. But all the negative emotions from this school brought her pain, and it was enough to drive her half delirious. She collapsed onto the ground, pulling her knees up to her chest. Hands over her face, she continued her mumbling under her breath, half whimpering. She didn't seem to realize Zero was there, since with all the upheaving of emotions from the school one wasn't enough to borrow her specifically.

"No, no more no more. No more! So much negativity. Why so much pain? Why does it have to hurt!?" Ramiel's babble rose, the last word almost a wail as she spoke. She curled forward, her fingers fisting in her hair as she buried her face against her knees, beginning to cry. She hated this. But she'd been sent here, and so she was here. But there was nothing more angsty than teens, and angels and demons in a small space were not a good thing at all.

"Tears do nothing to make it worse. Why not do them? And it's been proven scientifically that crying helps make you feel better." Ramiel gasped through her tears, lifting her face. She was still in pain, as evident by her tenseness and occasional wince, but her crying was quieter now. She looked up at him, eyes big and wide as she flinched backwards. "I'm not a kid. I'm one of the original seven angels." She explained, though she certainly didn't look like it. "Please. Please don't..." She trailed off, not sure how to say it. Don't hurt me? Don't get near me, where it would be easier for me to feel your emotions? Don't touch me, and force me to see all the pain you've caused and experienced?

Ramiel flinched at his dismissal, her hands going back to the sides of her head at the emotions she felt from him. She stumbled to her feet, leaning back against the railing and moving her hands to it to brace herself. The instant bare skin touched it she cried out and flinched away from it, backing away.

"All those people..." Ramiel whispered, staring at the railing in horror. "All those people that come up here and stand at that railing. They're in so much pain, so hopeless... So lost." She turned her anciently anguished gaze to Zero, "I-I can see and feel everything that's happened to who or what I touch. The negative emotions bring so much pain. When I touch that railing, oh god. All those people that've jumped..." she trailed off, her gaze sliding out of focus. "I can feel all that anguish they feel, only I feel a combination of all of theirs at once. And I get physical pain from it."

Ramiel made a strangled little sound in the back of her throat, closing her eyes as silent tears dripped down. "You don't think I could've helped... I am Ramiel. Archangel of Hope. There's so much pain everywhere I can't focus on everyone. If I had I could have helped these people. Instead I'm up here feeling what my failure has done with a demon who wishes it was me that had been one of the jumpers so he wouldn't have to put up with me." ((She's such a mess and honestly she annoys me sometimes xD. I'm so sorry for her angsty clicheness.))

Zero glares at her,"Look at yourself, you're crying over spilt milk. Instead of crying, stay strong and clean it up. In other words, instead of crying here, stay strong and help those you can. You cant save everyone, no matter how hard you try. So start with baby steps first."
"There's no one up here besides you, and I get the feeling you'd throw me over that railing before you let me help you." Ramiel laughed without humor. "I can feel the emotions around, and I can tell there's no one I can help. No ones that far gone. It's just the normal levels but when it's combined..." she grimaced, hands going to her temples again.

When he basically asked her to help, Ramiel stilled, studying him. Cautiously she moved closer, though she winced as she did, feeling his emotions and he pain from them more clearly as she got closer. "Why is your life so horrible?" she asked softly, hovering about a foot or two away from him, not quite touching the railing.

Out of habit Ramiel reached forward toward his arm, but what he'd said and done so far stopped her. Right before she touched him to use her Hope abilities her fingers curled back up and she pulled it back, letting her hand drop by her side again. "I'm alone all the time." she smiled slightly, studying him. "They're all things you just have to... Before you do anything you have to accept that they are true, but you can't let it make you depressed about it. Find the line between acceptance and resignation."

"There's a difference between personal past and the pain of others. Because I was so wrapped up in the pain emotions brought me, I couldn't feel specific enough to help these people. It's my fault. But right now I'm talking about you, now me. You have to accept it before you can move on." Ramiel explained, almost pleading.

Frustrated, Ramiel shook her head sharply. "My mistake cost lives. I don't deserve to forgive myself for that. You? All you have to do is accept what's currently happening in your life. Acknowledge that it's real, and then decide what you can do about it."

Ramiel winced at his glare and the emotions that swept toward her with it, grimacing and taking a step back. "Curses aren't real. Most of the time. If they were, don't you think an angel who was supposed to kill that can feel other people's emotions and pain would take the cake? And yet I find ways to deal. I stay as far away from people as I can get most of the time. You find a way to deal with your 'curse' if it's so important to you." She said in frustration, pinching the bridge of her nose in pain.

"That's why I exist. Hope. Hope is what gives people the will to live. Hope makes life worth it to people. I want to help them because without me there would be hundreds of people jumping off this roof. But that's my other curse." Ramiel looked over at him, "I can give others hope. But I cannot give it to myself."

"It's hard to be hopeful when you can feel all the pain of the people around you. And when I say around, I mean miles around, not just like in the same room." Ramiel smiled half-heartedly, looking down at her hands.

"Ah yes, because I go around mopey." Ramiel sighed, looking back up at him. "I'm not a depressed person. When I get overwhelmed by everything, I move out of the way of other people. I'm not stupid." She said gently. "Besides, I don't have to try to make people happier. I can just..." She closed her eyes for a moment, and sent a bit of Hope going over to him. Not enough to get him pissed at her for messing with him, just enough that he could feel it.

"I don't not love myself. I just know that I'm letting my own discomfort get in the way of easing others, which I don't think is right." She explained simply, lacing her fingers together in front of herself.
"What ar eyou doing?" Kira demanded the guy sharply, her brows raised high and despite the mask over her mouth and nose, her frown was evident.
