She had to applaud the hellhound for her constant use of rhyme. It was interesting, and if Cara was a nicer person, then she would have thought that was cool. But Cara wasn't, even though she was smiling the way she was, Cara wasn't nice. Cara wasn't mean either. She just had her priorities. Priorities such as putting first the thing that made someone really useful. But was Kali useful to her? Hm, probably not. "I see," she said, after a moment. "Aunt Aeli must love you then, if she gave you a part of a human soul so that you may continue living." Indeed her great-whatever-aunt was kind. She was polite and prim, but she was also a demon, and the child of Cryaotic aka Satan. And she was known to be kindly cruel to her subjects. She wondered which unlucky soul had been donated to this young hellhound. Young metaphorically speaking. Since she did not know exactly how old the hellhound was. "Do you like the Queen?" Cara asked, putting her hand on her hip.

Kali gave a little half-smile, folding her arms. "It is not me she did it for, simply repayment and protection for her kin, nothing more." She said simply. She was under no illusions. All she had done was prove she was a good fighter and really loyal, and the queen just needed someone like that here to keep an eye on her kin. She was bound to the queen and her family, as the shackles on her wrists proved. But she still had wolfish/dog instincts, and she saw nothing wrong with it. Some of the family still treated her like a a servant or pet, but there was nothing odd about that to her.

Cara stepped back a bit, and snorted, "indeed she would but the last I heard, her sibings are all quite horrid folk. Well as horrid as demons can be," she said examining the sleeve of her Victorian Era gown and tugging at a thread. Biting her lip, she felt a sting on her arm. It was brief, before it faded, and she realised, someone she had a contract with, had come this close to feeling her wrath. Looking back at Kali, she said, "what's with the way you speak by the way? It's quite...irritating and I'm surprised great poets aren't turning in their grave."

Ebony growled, and even cheerful Kali's look was definitely a bit less friendly. "My manner of speech is not of my choice, it's impossible to absorb a second soul perfectly and one cost was my voice. Grammar makes no sense to me, no one's tried to explain it, and so you see? I don't know if speech is part of the price, no one's tried to tell me and be nice." She smiled slightly, scuffing the toe of her black leather boots on the ground. Obviously slightly ashamed now that Cara had pointed it out and actually rather cruelly, she avoided looking at the other girl, brushing an imaginary piece of lint off of her pink skinny jeans then her black leather jacket. Despite her sassiness and brattiness, Ebony was actually really attached to Kali, and she took the offense rather seriously. One red eye fixed on Cara and she started to snarl as she glared. Kali didn't even try to stop her.

Cara smirked when she saw the girl's cheerful expression dip a little. So she was capable of expression something less than that cheerful smile. "It shouldn't have been hard to learn over the days and years that you have lived," she said callously, having gotten bored of trying to be nice. Now she was interested in what kind of expression she could dredge up from Kali's emotions. And then she could see what would happen. She reached forward and touched the girl's jacket, "nice jacket for a hellhound, who'd you take this from?" She asked, ignoring Ebony on Kali's shoulder. As she was feeling up the corner of Kali's jacket, she looked at the girl's eyes again, seeing the two different shaded irises, she said, "I wouldn't change the way you speak though. As irritating as it is, it's also quite fascinating to listen to...I doubt anyone would be bored listening to you." In the space of a few minutes, Cara had shifted from one end of the continuum to the other. Just one way for her to manipulate the other person. She wondered if Kali was confused which one was the real Cara.

This time it was a smirk that changed Kali's expression as she looked over at the other girl. "Being human is a brand new thing, I've only been this way for as long as two months bring." She replied smoothly, her crossed arms loosening a fraction. She brushed her hand over the jacket sleeve. "I was not just thrown in defenseless, the Queen knew that would be senseless. I do have the money for it, so I bought the jacket myself to just the right fit." She told the other girl, studying her. It didn't really confuse her much how someone could change so abruptly. With only a few months of human experience herself, nothing was really odd at this point. Just new. She smiled slightly at the comment, but didn't speak.

Interesting, Cara thought to herself, noting how unfazed by the hellhound was of her shifting personality. Well, what next? She wondered. Smiling pleasantly, she pulled her hands away and flipped her hair again, sighing forlornly saying, "right fit and style, don't be modest, you have excellent taste." Imagine, a hellhound with a sense of style and fashion of a form. That was a first. Even Lucky didn't have that kind of presence. If anything, Lucky in her human form, well, humanoid form, was rather average in that tattered short sdress of hers. It looked good on Lucky, but it wasn't a matter of fashion. It was anything but. With half narrowed eyes, she looked back at Kali. "Tell me, what do you think of me? In the space of a few moments, do you hate or like me? If you like me, let's do something fun, if you don't well..."

One of Kali's eyebrows rose as she looked back at the other girl. She certainly did not expect that invitation. She wasn't entirely convinced that it was honest, but Kali also knew she couldn't tell either way. So new to being human, their emotions and actions were still puzzling, though she was catching on. She was really good at picking up body language though, and it seemed that atleast the compliment on her outfit was sincere. "The human this was had good taste. Still- do not judge me with too much haste. I did not ask for this girl and her spirit is gone, the Queen made sure that she had moved on." She said, before the girl could judge her. her voice was soft and gentle, almost concerned. "I do like you, this I can assure. But whether you honestly like me? I am not sure." She said shrewdly, eyeing her.

"I'll bet the Queen ensured she moved on," murmurred Cara. though perhaps not in the usual method of passing on. If anything, since the soul that had previously existed in Kali's body was most likely contracted to Aunt Aeli, that soul was still trapped in the Queen's vast soul library. No doubt at Aeliana's disposal. Cara's lips widened and she smiled at Kali, pleased with her answer, and said, "I like you too," much too quickly, but before the girl could perhaps respond, Cara slipped an arm through hers, and said, "come, I've been looking for someone to play a game with. Well I need someone to do it with me, since I can't do it on my own, and you seem capable." She started pulling Kali towards the door, well, she was pulling, it was all up to Kali to stop Cara.

Kali's eyes narrowed as she looked back at the other girl in distrust. She was young, not stupid. "I really don't mean to dis, but what kind of game is this?" She asked, curious despite herself. Stepping after the other girl, she ignored Ebony, who was now muttering graphic explanations of what they actually could be walking into under her breath into Kali's ear. But the hellhound was used to blood and gore- after all, she had died. She gave a tiny shudder as she remembered that moment. All those stories of death being easy and painless were flat-ass lies in her experience.

"A fun one," Cara said grinning. It was a big grin too, one that actually touched her eyes and meant it too. But of course, for the one stuck in the centre of the game it would be anything but fun. And Kali would get to watch it all. Her arm still threaded in Kali's, Cara led her to the rooftop door and led her down the stairs in search of her victim. She had a person in mind, and while she was vaguely aware of where this person was, Cara hated doing the legwork to find them. Sighing, she had not a care in the world while she hauled Kali along. Even if she came willingly, Cara could feel her fingers twitching in eagerness as she headed towards the school's courtyard.

Kali hesitantly followed, biting her lip. Cara's eagerness was vaguely disturbing to her, but she was still too trusting to be too worried, or pull away. Ebony's mutters had risen to near hysterical yelping, and Kali used her free hand to scoop the Shugo Chara from her shoulder and held her jaws closed, lifting the furious creature up and whispering lowly in her ear. Ebony was not very calmed, but atleast stopped yelling.

Elena had wanderd up to the top of the rooftop, wanting the feeling of the cool air on her cheeks. She had her laced shirt along her black skinny jeans and boots. Her hair flew in natural directions and she spotted a guy. She chuckled when she got closer, "Don't you look majestic." She said with a small smirk playing along her lips, clearly amused. There was a hint of sarcasm in her voice that she didn't bother to hide. Oh well.

Cry was sitting upside down from atop one of the flag poles on the roof, wearing his usual green sweatshirt and blue jeans. He stared intently at the bright flashing screen if his DS, Mario Brothers, as always. His mask was planted firmly over his face.

Kaname opens his eyes as they flash red before returning back to dark brown as he smiles kindly,"Well I assure you, ma'am, that surely wasnt my intention" That was just like Kaname to act like that, like he was killing people with kindness, it always drove his younger adopted brother insane yet he was always disappointed that it never worked on his little sister.. But then again his little sister was always someone hard to upset.

Elena bit her lip, tilting her head slightly. She examined him, wondering what he was. "And what was that exactly? Your intention." She asked, raising an eyebrow. As she looked at him she couldn't help see the flash of a screen from the corner of her eye. When she saw the boy she smirked. He seemed like he was in his own little world. Elena trailed her eyes back on the mysterious boy, her eyes full of curiosity.

Cry listened carefully. It wasn't like he needed to. He knew each of them personally. Their pasts, futures, how they'd die.

Kaname smirks, holding the rose out to the girl,"Perhaps it was to make you as curious as you are now.. Or perhaps it was just for fun.." His gaze then trailed to Cry. He had heard his cousin was dating Cry, but he hasnt heard any news recently and he often avoided that cheerful cousin of his. He then smirks,"Mr.Cryaotic, such a pleasant surprise.."

Elena pursed her lips, not knowing what to say. When he greeted the boy Elena turned towards him. Cryaotic? Interesting name. They were both unusual and Elena couldn't help but feel intrigued. This should be interesting.

Cry didn't bother to glance at them, his now brown hair flowing downwards as sighed softly, "Oh? Is it really? Or are you just killing me with kindness? It is your signature weapon. Kindness that is. I can never quite understand the motives of your particular species as much as I can angels. Of course my understanding of the both of you extends passed comprehension levels, and so it doesn't necessarily matter" he said calmly, "Damn Goombas" he mumbled, continuing to play the game.

Kaname blinks, smirking slyly,"My my, you act like you know me so well, no ones as kind as Felix.. Besides, my species? Great sir, I am a demon, much like you, just.. Not as powerful im sure.." He then looks at the girl,"Though, is she a different species? She smells reaper but her soul burns beautifully like a demons nightmare.." Surely this was a compliment, since he loved nightmares.

Elena raised an eyebrow. "Gee, thanks." She mumbled but looked away, blushing slightly. "And just so you know, I'm right here. No need to act like I'm not." She mutterd. She jumped up on the edge of the railing and dangled her legs down. "I'm an angel." She joked. She couldn't help but smile at how far the fall looked. "Why don't you both guess? I'm sure it's quite obvious." She smirked.

Cry shrugged, "Hmm. I'd rather not. Guessing something I already know is quite stupid, and why yes Kaname I do know everything about you. More than you know about yourself." He replied.

Kaname smirks,"I am guessing you are a reaper, reaper girls always are the toughest.." He then looks at Cry,"And oh really? What did I get for Christmas last year? Who's my family members?"

She looked at them argue and raised a brow. They seemed lovely. Wanting their attention she smiled wickedly. "Guess again." She purred. With that Elena let go and she went falling down. She would use her wings in time but still, she'd like to see their reaction.

Cry sighed, "I won't prove myself to those who ask me to. Just tell Yuki I said hi." He said before floating over to the ledge and looking down, "Hmm... She seems persistent." He murmured.

Elena's black angels spread out before er and she rest her arms on the ledge and her chin on them. She titls her heads lightly, looking up at them. "Did that frigten you?" She asked, though she knew it didn't.

Elena chuckled. "You could say that. But really.." She started, a glint in her eye. "I'm just a reckless idiot." She smiled and sat back on the ledge. Hiding her wings.

Cry yawned, floating aimlessly above the ground, "Ive heard that so many times. In reality, you have no agency. Everything youve done and will ever do was planned and has already happened. Its a cycle. A premeditated cycle. And youre living in it. You really no choice, youre compelled to do what you do." He said calmly.

Kaname blinks, glancing at Cry then at Elena,"Though im sure theirs alot out their like you.. Have you met any yet?" He asks, directing the question to both Cry and Elena.

Elena tilted her head curiously at Cry. She squinted her eyes, trying to figure him out. "What are you?" She whisperd. Unknown to his kind and definetly intrigued. She shook her head at the other guys question, still not taking her eyes off the floating boy.

"Im something. I ask that question a lot too." He said calmly, glancing at Kaname, "Have you Kaname?" He asked.

Kaname blinks at the girl. Did she seriously not know who Satan was? Well.. Perhaps only Kaname did because his cousin was getting married to Cry and never shuts up about him. He then finally answers Cry,"Im afraid not, im serious about my job.. As a demon of course.." He smirks, teasing,"All demon or evil girls think they're too good for others.. Besides.. All the bad girls go for you.. Its why im surprised you fell for an innocent demon boy.. Aren't all demons supposed to be evil? He's all smiles.." (Lol yes, he often teases his cousin and calls Felix an angel instead of a demon most of the time cause Felix was raised by an angel so he's all polite and nice XD)

Elena was confused by there conversation and looked at them, back and forth. "Am I missing something?" She asked, pinching her eyebrows together in confusion. "Do you two know each other?"

He sighed, "Im soon to be betrothed to his cousin." He replied calmly, shifting in the air uncomfortably and rolling his shoulders.

Kaname nods, sighing softly,"My apologize m'lady, i haven't seen mr.Cry in awhile so it seems i was quite distracted.." He looks back at Cry then at Elena silently after that.

Elena nodded slowley, processing it all. When she saw Crys responds she raised an eyebrow. "You say it as if it's a bad thing. You do love her right?"

Cry adjusted his mask, "Him" he replied, folding his arms and examining his sneakers.

Kaname holds back a laugh,"Well.. Felix is moody like girls.. But last I heard, he's a guy.." He nods, agreeing with Cry.

Elena blushed, "Oh! Right, my mistake." She shook her head and offerd a small smile. "Please, forgive me." She said warmly.

He nodded calmly, "Mhm" he said, putting a ear phone in and listening to a Hollywood Undead Song.

Kaname smiles, rolling his eyes,"Its ok, I was shocked when I found out.. But love is love again.. Though I wonder how many emotions Felix actually got Cry to show.." He says, trying to push Cry's buttons.
