Her head shot up, she had thought he was already out of ear-shot. She glared at him, "I don't kill unless someone fights me fair and square, I am a demon but I am not scum." she spat. She didn't want to kill someone as weak and easygoing as him. He seemed to accept his death and she hated that, she hated his guts. In fact, the guy pissed her off which hadn't ever happened before.

"Ahh, revealing your plot to a demon... Not a goody goody angel after all." she said, looking at him. "If you're so keen about this and so sure of yourself, why not test out you power, lets see how strong you are..." she said, challenging him, she wouldn't kill him but she wanted to see if he really was telling the truth, she wanted an opponent.

She grinned, using telekinesis to dodge the beam, she materialized a spirit sword that consisted of everlasting ice. She danced nimbly around him, ready for the next blow. She suddenly decided to fool around with him, she threw a snowball that appeared in her hand at his face, full force.

Her breath caught in her throat, she could breath, Damn you she thought, she whirled around, floating to him as fast as she could which was lightning speed and struck a blow at him with her sword.

Her eyes widened when he crumpled her sword, Damn, he wasn't lying oh well, at least I know what to expect... she thought. What he did next surprised her further, she found herself limp and at his power as he took almost all of her life force, her energy came out with a sigh but soon it was returned to her, she collapsed on the floor, her white hair curled around her on the floor, she sat up, panting, she glared at him, "Fine, you win for now, you weren't lying..." she said, getting up slowly.

"Like hell I would. No other angel would even dare to talk to me." she said, smirking as she ran her fingers through her hair. She looked at him, tilting her head, "In fact you are the only one who has spoken a word to me in thousands of years..." she said, her almost black eyes staring at his grey ones, "Can you really not see?" she asked suddenly.

She thought of the word 'friend'. It sounded strange to her like an alien life form. She had never had a friend, in fact, an angel and demon could never be friends. She took another look at him, he wasn't a typical angel, he was someone worth something. Yuki nodded, "Fine, but i don't know the damnnest thing about friendship." she said, staying where she was, she moved his pen into his hand which seemed to be what he was looking for.

She looked at him, "I don't even k,ow your name though...I'm Yuki." she said simply, walking over quietly to the table he was sitting at and floated herself up and on top of it, she sat about half a metre away from him on the table. Looking at him she realized that somehow they were similar, she continued, "I am 17000 years old, I am a demon." she said, "Well, I am basically 17." she added.

((Sorry! I fell asleep *bangs head against the wall*))
She nodded, looking at him, she couldn't tell that he was 17, it was strange, she had a lot in common with him, but, most of all she needed to know if her was part of the party that killed her 'adopted' family, people who loved her despite her being a demon unlike her parents who had left her to die in the woods.

Yuki nodded, "Fine, I'll be going too." she said and picked up her cat, Mai, and walked the opposite way.
((hmm, I wonder what question...))
Yuki stroke her cats head she whispered to Mai, "Do you think he might as well be a demon? He sure acts like one." she told her cat and reached a window, it was becoming darker outside and she sat down on the broad windowsill.

"Soula what can I do for you?" Asked Len ((shortening his name, getting annoyed with typing the whole thing)). To Reaver, he gave a slight nod of acknowledgment. "Reaver."

"Yeah..." He eyed the pair cautiously. He didn't take on many jobs, particularly after his years in the war. So long as it didn't involve blood, or death, or anything he didn't want to do right at this moment, he would do it. Or so the jobs that usually came to him were... "What do you want?"

Len looked at where Reaver was looking. Then turned back. "Do tell. I'm curious now that you've mentioned it."
