Eva nods and starts to look around. She found old photo albums and started pulling a few off the shelf. "These?" She asked lightly.

Rin shrugged, "it is just a school library, but then, they probably have it? Who knows?" He said looking around as he waited for the book to arrive.

Quin looked over at the photo albums and lifted the cover, saying, "looks good, let's see if I'm young enough to be in here," he joked, making note of the fact that his life as a prince could have been around the time when they had cameras. He had forgotten what year they had been, but well, didn't hurt to check.
Eva nods smiling lightly. She flipped through books one after another not finding anything until she came across a book from about around 1920 maybe a bit earlier. She flipped it open and found a younger version of Quin staring back at her. "Look at this." She beckoned him.
Celtricia sighed through Sucumbies body as she accepted the cart from the librarian and pushed it over to a table and sat down as she pulled out a book and looked at the glossary to begin searching.

Quin who had been flipping through one of he later volumes, looked over at hers, and blinked. He was startled to see himself staring back and said, "hey, it's me." He read the caption below it, "Prince Aleksandr Alkaev visiting the little town of Summerly...
"only the seventh generation." she said to him, anticipating what he was going to ask as she flipped to the page specified in the glossary before sighing and placing the book to the side and pulling out another one. she repeated this process a couple more times and each one ended up in the same result.
Eva smiled softly. "You are absolutely perfect." She mused and stared at the photo. "This was such a long time ago." She said to him as she pulled out a few other volumes.

"It was," he murmurred taking the photo album and flipping through it while she looked at other ones. It surprised him to see himself at such an old fashioned setting.
"what else?" she asked as she placed another book to the side and looked in another before exclaiming, "by god, why are so many of the pages in some god damn code!" she called out in such a loud voice that one of the library's bookshelves could be heard falling over in the distance.
Eva blinked in surprise and looked down at the last photo in her album. It was her. A little younger than she was now..by a year or two staring back at her. She wore a long gown that compared to the outfit Quin was wearing in his picture...was on the poorer side. She wore her long red hair down like she always had. But her eyes seem younger and full of life. "Quin.." She called him.
(Both RP's are looking into the past. XD)

Quin who had found more photos of himself with siblings and cousins, looking dashing, which didn't feel like it was him. He looked up when Eva said his name and said, "hm?"
As the cart emptied, Celtricia grew more furious. "Anything important has been encrypted and most of them are highly unlikely to be solved without the correct manual and the others, impossible." Celtricia complained in a frustrated sigh as she tossed the second last book to the side and placed her hands on her face in defeat.
Eva smiled and slide the book over to him. "that redhead look familiar." She said and winked lightly. "I'm not sure if those were my parents...but it looks like them." She stated.

"Unless we know an decoder or someone with decoding abilities of the magical kind," said Rin pulling out another volume, taking his sweet time.

"Yeah, she does," he said, "she's gorgeous too," he smirked, "so you were there then, I wonder how we met?"
"This plan hit a dead end." Celtricia admitted as she looked over the mountainous pile of books.
Eva shrugged lightly. "You keep looking...it should say something...obviously I was of a lower status than you." She stated.

"Yes..." Said Quin trailing off, he looked over at her and frowned a bit, "so do you remember something? Anything? "
Eva shook her head at first but then a memory flashed into her mind. Quin and her were in a large well decorated room with a gold chair. The chair was covered in red rubies....which must of been the family jewel. A man very similar to Quin was frowning and shaking his head in distaste, "she is not fit to marry you..she is but a mere servant, a peasant...." He muttered angrily at him. "I will not approve of this marriage and that is it." The memory quickly ended and Eva gasped. "Your father....he didn't want me with you."
"have you noticed anything unusual about the codes yet?" she asked as she looked up at him with a look that could kill so it would seem weird coming from Sucumbie.

Quin blinked, watching her, he said quietly, "my father..." he reached out to her hand, and squeezed it. He said, "yes, he tried to separate us. But I didn't care. I wanted you."
"Look at the book your holding, you'd have to be blinder than a bat to not know that not once is a symbol repeated In each book, it might happen in another book on a rare occasion but never in the same book twice." She insulted him, once again as she picked out a random book from the pile and opened it, showing how every symbol was different and only one symbol out of the hundreds littering the pages matched up with the book he was holding.
Eva smiled gently and moved closer to him as he took her hand in his. She felt him gently squeeze it and she squeezed his back. "I don't know how I remember that...but...I wanted you too." She says quietly.

"Yeah..." he murmurred, looking at her in the photo album. "We're one step closer to uncovering all your memories." He turned to her, wondering if that memory had triggered anything else. He was both glad she remmebered but also nervous that she had. He had been brave before, saying that he didn't mind, but well, it was good that the first recovered memory was one that involved him.
"Better go look somewhere else." She sighed before Sucumbie's eyes closed and she collapsed onto the table, asleep.
Eva nods gently and steps closer to him. She wraps her arms around his waist and looks up into his eyes. "I can feel your nervous energy." She whispered to him softly. "If this is all true...if we did love each other before.....I promise I will love no one else but you." She said to him and leaned her head against his chest. "If I ended up with someone else along the way it wasn't true.."

Quin shifted so that his arms were resting on her shoulders, and said thoughtfully, "I love you. I have since the beginning," Of course, Quin didn't realise that by saying that he had two meanings. One was when he had met Eva by the lake. The other from the thousands of lives he had lived that he was yet to discover. "Always. But don't say that if you had loved someone else and it wasn't true...maybe not the love that we have. But it was still love."
Eva nods and smiled softly at him. She had a sad look in her eyes.."did you...did you ever have another?" She asked. He sounded like he was talking more about himself....not her. "Who was she?"
Sucumbie's head had slowly lolled to the side and a small puddle of drool had dribbled out of her mouth. While they were waiting the librarian had come over and asked Rin if he was done with the books.

Quin looked down at her, conflicted as to whether he should talk about her or not, "you will still love me right?" He asked, even though she had said it before, he felt the need to hear it again, just like he would tell her the same thing.
Sucumbie finally woke as her eyes fluttered open. She sat up with drowsy eyes(she's sleeping a bit too much) and drool still dripping down her chin as she looked at Rin sleepily, unaware of her saliva on her chin.
Eva nodded. "Of course I will still love you." She answered. "Why?"

"In my last human life...I was in love with my sister's best friend..." He said, swallowing. He hadn't forgotten the way she stared at him, wide eyed and terrified as they swerved, crashing...
Sucumbie tilted her head slightly as she saw Rin beginning to smile as a faint chuckle was beginning inside him, longing to be set free. Sucumbie then sat upright as she realised she had fallen asleep and quickly wiped her jaw with her sleeve quickly as her face flushed in embarrassment.
Eva nods softly but there was something more to the story. She saw it in his eyes. Something had happened to her. "It wasn't your fault." She said seeing the guilt on his face.

"In a way it was...I shouldn't have taken her with me, but well...I was an idiot in that life..." he said, rubbing his face with a hand, as though he was trying to wipe the memory away. But it wouldn't go. It was the kind of memory that rarely faded so easily.
Eva nods and hugs him tightly. "It's alright...she is in a better place." She kissed his cheek and she looked up into his eyes. "We all make mistakes."
"I'm feeling embarrassed but I'm fine." She replied as she finished cleaning her lip.

"Yes...she is..." He said, he had loved her a lot, in a different way to how he loved Eva. But he had still loved her, and the guilt of his death had driven him to his own. Had he always been a man of big emotion?
Eva smiled sadly at him again. "And you still love her." She said more as a statement than a question.
"Wound..." Sucumbie said as we mind had a blank, "oh, that one." Sucumbie said as she placed a hand on her shoulder. "I had forgotten it was there." She admitted as she rubbed her shoulder, "but I can't feel the wound." She murmured as her brows furrowed.

"I loved her, yes..." He looked at Eva smiling sadly, and smiled sadly himself, "I'm sorry..."
Eva sighed softly. Her head was pounding from all the new information. She loved Quin and she knew he loved her in return. But he was still in love with the human. "It's...it's alright...I just need...I need to know...if you are ready to move on?" She asked.
"It's like it's not there." She replied as she began to unwrap the bandages on her shoulder.

Quin looked at Eva, looked her in the eyes, and felt that wrench in his heart. The love he had for Eva was big and bright taking up most of his heart, but in a tiny corner, there was Laelia, still there. He looked at her hands, and fiddled with them so that her fingers intertwined with his. "I loved her, and she's still in my heart, but you are there too...I'm sorry, how do I explain this...with you...I feel like I've been looking for you for a long time..."
"No...." Sucumbie said as she looked around her and noted her surroundings. "But, how did I end up here?" She asked.(What's Cara doing?)
