Quin put his hand on her back and tried to reassure her when he turned, startled, barely pushing Eva out of the way in time when a dagger sliced through the sleeve of his top revealing his multicoloured tattoos.

Eva gasped and looked up at Quin. She was in fight mode now but remained on the floor. She pulled Quin down with her and underneath a table.

Quin followed Eva down under the table to dodge Sloth's attacked and yelled, "hey what the hell do you think you're doing?"

Eva tried to catch her breath. Her muscles tense and quivered wanting to defend herself and Quin. She growled and a knife cut her arm.

Sloth laighed "i was bored for SOOO long! how exxiting...the thrill of the kill.they call it!"
inside him kana waa trying wifh all.his might to.fight back sloth who threw a dagger at the guy.

Quin blinked and looked at Eva, "what?" he said to her not understand Sloth at all. He yelled at Sloth, "Well...GO Kill someone else!!! WE want to live a little longer!"

Eva winced at her cut slightly and sighed. She shook her head. "Just a little cut." She said lightly and smiled. "Well this is new." She said to him and blushed. "Yes WE would love to keep living thank you!" She shouted.

"Oh damn, sorry about that," Said Quin feeling like an ass for letting Eva get cut. Then he rolled pulling her behind him as he avoided another crazy attack from Sloth, "who the hell are you????"

Eva smiled lightly. "It's alright." She said and hid behind him. "Okay really?" She hissed. "This has gone on long enough."

Sloth laughed "I am SLoth, one of teh great and powerful Sins!! KNeal before me, then i might consider NOT killing you...or not! Depends on my mood" He slashed at his legs "Now now, don't run away little mouse!"

Quin flinched reading Sloth's intention. He really intended to kill them if...yeah. He really did. "If I could just touch him," muttered Quin, "I could borrow his powers," he said since he had the ability to copy someone else's power temporarily.

Eva looked at him with confusion. "You can do that?!" She said amazed.

SLoth raised a brow "My powers, unfortunatley to you and me, aren't very good in a fight...let me give you an example!!"
SLoth summoned up Quin's worst fear.

Quin winced and nodded to Eva before he was hit with his worst fear. There was a screech of tyres in his mind, a car skidding across the road...Quin was helpless, helpless to save the girl in the car next to him.

SLoth laughed evily "OH, poor poor little mouse. SO useless you can't even save a girl!! WHat use are you? Probably going to get this girl killed!!" He laughed meanily, smiling sardonically.

Eva tried to figure out how to wake up Quin he seemed to be locked in a trance of some sort. She growled a summoned water from the air. She made a water ball before splashing it in his face. Hoping to snap him out of it. Then she turn around and tried to summon any water out of sloths body. So he would be dehydrated and weak.

Quin didn't wake, trapped in Sloth's illusion, his eyes squeezed shut as he relieved that horrid memory over and over again.

Eva bit her lip and tried to shake Quin awake. "Quin. It's okay! Everything's okay! This isn't real! Wake up!" She shouted desperately. She splashed a little more water on him and shook him again.

Sloth staggered back. His consentration broke along with his deathly illusion. Hs glared at the girl.
"I warned you missy!" he threw a dagger at her.

Quin breathed as though he'd surfaced from drowning in a pool and blinked. He was in the library, Laelia was gone. He was an Angel. He looked up and saw Eva, "Eva..." he murmurred, then he said, "Eva, what are your abilities?" He dragged them out of the path of the dagger, letting it thunk into the wooden floor, centimetres from his foot.

Eva looked watched as he moved us over before quickly saying. "Water control...I can take water from the air around us and from inside people." She said. It had taken a lot out of her but she was ready to give up her power to Quin for the moment. "Do you need it?" She asked seriously.

Eva was feeling a bit drained when he copied her power but shook off the feeling quickly. She held Quin's hand tightly and bit her lip nervously. Hoping that this guy would just give up.

Eva laughed. "Sure! If I'm right! You have to pay for dinner tonight! If you're right, I have to pay!" She said making the bets and the smiled getting out from underneath the table and making a force field of water around Quin and her. "We are done." She growled at Sloth.
