Kenichi and Katri entered the year 12 math class late. He blinked as the whole class turned their eyes to stare at them standing awkwardly at the doorway. "Um..." He started to say, already knowing that he was on the verge of being rude in response to the teacher asking them why were they late.

"Sorry for our tardiness." Katri said quickly, winking at the teacher winningly as she said, "We were at the talent show, and my performance was a bit later than anticipated." She figured if she said they were late because of the school performance, they would be exempted of any punishment.

Eri and En, walked in behind Katri and Kenichi, and Eri sighed. She walked over to a chair near Rin and just sat down, crossing her legs, paying no heed to the teacher or anyone else for the matter. En just smiled and shrugged at the teacher and said, "same thing as them, sorry!"

Kenichi closed his mouth, internally relieved that Katri jumped in though, he silently berated himself for the fact that he knew he would say something rude, and wouldn't be able to stop himself.

Kenichi just smiled at Katri and sat down next to her in the seats that she had found for them to the left of the room, on the other side of the couple that had followed them into the room.

Katri set her books down as she sat at her seat, flipping open her textbook, then her notebook that was filled with nothing but drawings. Flipping to an empty page, she commenced with drawing.

Kenichi had forgotten his books so he looked over at Katri's and then blinked, sweat dropping he said, "so...I have to pay attention...?"

En sat down next to Eri and looked over at Rin. He blinked, "who's that?" he asked in his charming australian accent - the nice kind, not the rough and tough broad kind.

Katri looked over at him and shrugged. "Not if you're smart. I learn the lessons before they are taught, so I use the time to draw.....did you need to borrow my textbook?" she asked.

Eri only peered slightly around En to look at the girl he was talking to. Her bored eyes showing, for once, some slight emotion.

"Clever...well, I just suck at Maths in general, always have," he said nodding his head at her question about the textbook.

Katri handed her book over and said, "I can tutor you, if you need it. Maths is easy for me."

Kenichi sighed, "well, I don't mind being tutored by you," he said smirking at her. He opened the textbook and groaned as he stared at the differentiating page. "I hate calculus."

"She's blushing," said Eri smirking faintly to En, En looked over at her, and said, "yeah, I know, it's cute, though...I'd rather see you blush to be honest."

Eri just scowled, "like that will ever happen!"

Kenichi just stared at the numbers and squiggles that marked the various differentiation formulas with apprehension, "Mio tried teaching me once, she gave up..." he mumbled thinking of his sister who happened to be quite good at maths, strangely enough.

Kenichi looked over at her, looking pained, "good luck, apparently I have a head that's thicker than stone to break through when it comes to maths."

Katri giggled more, and covered her mouth to avoid disrupting class. "Well, if you're that bad, maybe I could try a method that this siren taught me. Apparently, if I put someone under my charm and teach them something, when they are out of the charm later, they will still know what I taught them. I could try that as a last resort." she offered.

Kenichi felt some of the students look over at them, some boredly, others just going 'shhh'. He blinked and said, "well that would be interesting, maybe we could, because well, I'm certainly not much of a mathematician as I am..."

"It should probably be the first preference," he murmurred already seeing a whole lot of torture ahead for him. All of his tutors back in his childhood human days had given up. They hadn't been able to handle it. He wished Kat all the best...

Rin looked down at her drawing startled, her creator only just understanding what he mentn. "I-its...his name is Len" Leaving the brother part out because it's none of this guy's bussiness

"Oh cool, nice drawing," he said, his voice low-ish and actually managing to make Australian sound sexy unlike some people his creator knows.

Rin raised a brow at his accent beacuse her creator has a hard time reading stuff in diff accents and has only heard really strong aussie accents because most aussies are migrants includign herself
