This book was pretty decent. I think I liked the second half more than I did the first...things really picked up in intensity once the mystery of Holland was revealed. I think if I read this before movies like The Sixth Sense I may have liked it more. But maybe not, because I also didn't super love the writing. The story was good but the writing? Not so much.
