Hey i read this novel some time ago. It was a mystery novel in which there's this group of detectives who have this super powers like reading people's mind or touch a thing and know about the past or future related to the person who last touched it. It also consisted of some powers of controlling others mind by somehow getting into there mind or something. I don't remember the name of the author. Its a series of novels about this group of detective. Can someone help me with the name of the author or name of a book or something that could lead me to these books.

Could it be by Kay Hooper? She wrote a couple long series like that.

Possibly the Krewe series? I can't think of the author right now but that may be the Kay Hooper ones.

Is it a paranormal romance series that focuses on different members of the group? Or is it more of an Urban Fantasy series? Is there one main character in the series or does it vary? Are there any preternatural creatures in the book or is it strictly all human with abilities? There are a lot of possibilities, but in addition to the ones already suggested, here are a few off the top of my head.
