Guy tracks the killer for a while, then later discovers that killer was hired to kill scientists that were involved in trying to resurrect Hitler by stitching Hitler's well preserved head to the body of a prepared young man. The killings of the scientists was a method of controlling the leak of information of the resurrection project and not a method of stopping the project.
