Can't Decide Between Two Covers

The Ant Thief is a book for kids- ages 3-7. I can't decide between two covers. Please help.

The first one. The second one is kind of terrifying, and I don't understand what it's trying to do.

Without knowing anything about the story, not sure how people are supposed to give their opinion. One makes it look like a Disney story, the other makes it look like a Tim Burton film.
