[ Wasn't quite sure where to put them, so I'm hoping this is okay. :3 ]Draco had been doing virtually nothing all day.
After staying up late the night prior, he was tired as hell. He was currently seated by the lake, combing a few fingers through his perfectly groomed blonde hair. Watching the still water was incredibly boring. The whole damned school was boring, and Draco was just itching to leave. He was sixteen now, and he'd be where he wanted to be soon enough, but he couldn't wait. Patience was not one of his finer virtues.
Draco picked lazily at the grass, breathing in the fresh scent of the neatly kept blades. There had to be some kind of trouble he could get into, or someone who was just begging to be criticized. Glancing around the lake once more, he spotted a blonde he recognized. El, he thought her name was? Another blonde sat by her side, and a small smile creeped into his face. Perfect. Entertainment.
Draco picked himself up off the ground, brushing off his slacks and running a hand through his hair once more. He approached the girls quietly, but not creepily. No, Draco was far too attractive to be viewed as creepy. He was confident- cocky, even- and it showed. He was a Slytherin after all. El was too, and he wasn't quite sure about the other girl. Once he was within speaking distance, he tucked his hands in his slacks, and voiced a small "Hey."

Val felt like she never saw Ella anymore.
Sure, they were in different houses, but still. They were sisters. The girls were meant to be close. Yet, Valerie still felt as though Ella didn't tell her anything, and Val wanted nothing more than to protect and shelter her younger sibling. So, here they were, laying in the grass by the lake, and Val was just waiting for Ella to speak up. She wanted her to tell her something-- anything. "How have things been going for you?" Val asked quickly, breaking the awkward silence.
Valerie and Ella could not have been more different. Whereas Val was obedient and compliant, Ella was difficult and rebellious. That fact had probably determined how the girls had ended up in different houses, with Ella in Slytherin, and Val in Gryffindor. But their houses didn't matter- their blood did- and Val could only hope that Ella still felt the same. But lately, she couldn't be too sure.
Val's mind wandered, as it typically did. She was in desperate need of a boy toy. As much of a goody-two-shoes she was, she did love her guys. She'd dated a couple in the past, but it was just too complicated. School came first for her, and romance just got in the way of everything. Val hoped Ella wasn't dating anyone, or she'd have to kill the guy. She looked over at her sister, before looking behind her to see Draco Malfoy walking towards the two. He was in her sisters year, and she'd heard nothing but nasty things about him. She met his greeting with a sneer, rolling her eyes.
Ella sat there with a small sigh, being here with her sister brings back memories of they're young child times, where they would spend every waking moment together. Ella sighed as she began to wonder why she had begun to cut her sister off from her life, oh yeah, right, her sister was always trying to protect her, sometimes she even smother her which made Ella suddenly annoyed at her sister. Ella heard footsteps and had turned to see Draco Malfoy, a handsome fellow Slytherin, walking towards her and her sister.
Ella's thoughts moved on from her sister to what she had said a few times about Draco Malfoy to others inside their house, fellow Slytherins always listened to what she had to say, you could say she was they're Queen. Ella loved being a Slytherin, the boys admired her for not being ashamed of her God father Severus Snape, who has partially her name sake. Ella sighed softly again, lately she hadn't been herself, and everyone noticed, so they stayed far away from Ella so that they didn't disturb her.
" Hello Malfoy? Causing trouble today, or have you caused trouble today?" Ella asked with little interests, she could see a wolf near by, she kept her attention on it, she made a movement with her hands as if she was shooing it away, it glared at her before moving on. Ella then looked back up at Draco, she didn't dare stand or move away from her sister, since at the moment she finally felt better and at peace with herself.
