Very clever. And quite true. MY only comment is about the guarantees. If you see an ad company that does guarantee results, run for the exits. It's a scam.
Haha...bless you. Nice try!In all honesty, it's very much trial and error.
Make sure the cover is great (looks fine to me).
Approach many bloggers to get reviews.
Then Tweet til you drop.
Interact with many authors and readers.
Blog.
Get your profile up; author page on here & Amazon etc.
Above all else, good luck.

I'm just pleased to see that there are still people around who recognize a joke when they see one. Thanks for the *snort* and the 'Haha'.
I'm still feeling my way around the social media landscape, and humor seems to be too cutting edge for a fair part of it. Am I wrong?

Thanks. Consider the *like* button pushed!
So, I'm FINALLY getting through my reading list, and I'm now only 200 pages away from your book.I haven't forgotten about you, I just needed time to get around to you... looking very much forward to it!
And I promise you will get a review on here and on Amazon. Just didn't want you to wonder what happened to me :)

I'm a little confused here... Was the message for me, because Lisa apparently answered it. Did some strings get crossed somewhere?
Not too subtle, are we Jay? The bold font was a bold hint.

I have been
R esearching various advertising methods.
E ach has its merits.
V ery few come with guarantees.
I wonder if any are effective.
E ach of you may have had the same thought.
W e take our chances, I guess.
M any suggest subliminal advertising.
Y ou may have heard of it.
B ut, I have questions.
O ver legality.
O ver ethics.
K eeping everything aboveboard is important.
N ot that there aren’t gray areas.
O ften, the limits are unclear.
W e need to define proper use.
