Honestly everything you said is just one interpretation of those scenes in the books. We still don't know what Sarah's plan is for them or for the rest of the books.
Does anyone have a link to/ know what are the exact Manon chapters in HOF and QOS? I want to go back a re-read her chapters before EOS :) xx
After rereading the whole series in anticipation for EoS Mano has become one of my favorites. For some reason the second time around I just got her character more.

From the moment Manon was introduced she was my all-time favourite character. She is loyal to her Thirteen and despite her grandmothers harsh and cruel words of discouragements she fights through it. In Empire Of Stroms when Manon (view spoiler)I also ship Manorian :)

How have you guys been pronouncing her name? Because I've always been saying it like man-in, but then I was listening to interviews with Sarah and she was prounouncing it like muh-non and I was like "who?"
Yeah it's supposed to be pronounced muh-non but sometimes I pronounce it like canon with an M
I've been saying Canon with an M, but then I watched Christine and Sarah have an interview and I was like \(@.@)/ WAT
I also pronounced Aedion, as Aiden....

I pronounce it like Ay-dee-in (sometimes un). For the longest time I pronounced Chaol like sh-ol (like Dole but sh).

I've been pronouncing Elide like elle-i'd (I'd as in the same way the contraction 'I would' is pronounced)
I prounonce most of the names in the list above the same way
I just listen to SJM and pronounce them as she does. Except for Manon, I pronounce it both ways...
I'm not sure if that's the correct way to pronounce Elide, I just know that that's the way I've been saying it.
You guys don't want to know how I pronounce the names in spanish lol. And It's difficult to pronounce in english at least to me
When I went to an SJM book signing last week, she discussed the characters and pronounced Manon as Muh-NAWN (I capitalized the last part because she stressed it).
Oh, so you were right about how to pronounce Elide @empress. Idk I probably will still pronounce it elle-i'd anyway.

But her grandmother turned it black
She'd create a new world where the witches could live in harmony
And they'd take back the Wastes and live fearlessly
