Thank you! I am loving this series (both tv and book) they're related but dissimilar enough that one doesn't detract from the other.
You can't find 'The Cold Dish'? :( My library had the first 4 as an eBook bundle available on the Overdrive app. Does your library have hard copies of it? It's worth reserving and waiting for, in my opinion.

Zuzana | 1204 comments Sorry Elizabeth you had to wait so long but I often don't have internet during the week and because of so many posted covers this and dusty bookshelf threads crash my mobile app.

I'd like to ask mods when picking deadline to include at least one weekend day. This time it was Mon to Fri, which is less than ideal. Thanks.

This time, I believe the reason why there was no weekend days in the picking deadline is because of the fact that Ezi (who runs the challenge) is out of town starting on the 24th. I think she may have hoped to have picking completed before she left, but I am not certain.

I will make sure she is aware of your request, but there is no guarantee that she will be able to accommodate it on a monthly basis.

message 136: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth | 489 comments Zuzana thinks for picking the series Dirty Beautiful Rich ( books 1-5)it started out as a four star book but from books 2-5 it become a 3 star , it might had been higher if the author just wrote it as one book in steed of how they done it.

message 137: by Jonquil (last edited Oct 06, 2015 06:30AM) (new)

Jonquil | 699 comments I enjoyed Death's Rival by Faith Hunter, in a toss up between 5 and 4 stars I settled on 4 deducting points for a few passages that were a bit confusing. It had been a while since I read the previous book and I found myself being surprised that I was recalling snippets of previous books and annoyed that I kept thinking of other series, thereby repeatedly bouncing myself out of the story (Laurell Hamilton did that better, Patricia Briggs covered that). So, one lost star for my failure to stay immersed in Yellowrock's world.

message 138: by Jonquil (new)

Jonquil | 699 comments Blood Trade
Ho-hum. Not enough of anything. Not enough romantic possibility, much less romance. Not enough plot or universe development. Not enough intrigue or investigating or suspense or tension. I read it to finish it, not because I was engaged. So, too little Jane Yellowrock translates to enough Jane Yellowrock for me this month.

❤Stephanie ღ♥ღMrs Daryl Dixonღ♥ღ | 482 comments I finished both Broken Pottery (Campus Cravings, #6) by Carol Lynne and In Bear's Bed (Campus Cravings, #7) by Carol Lynne from my chosen series. will maybe finish another book from this series this month, depending on my mood.

I have finished the Annalise series:
Leaving Annalise (Katie & Annalise, #2) by Pamela Fagan Hutchins Finding Harmony (Katie & Annalise #3) by Pamela Fagan Hutchins

These were excellent, and I can say that my tear ducts are working fine! 5 stars each, and a hearty recommend to anyone who wants an action packed series with lots of cool stuff and some testosterone overload...

Thanks, Gea, for choosing the Skye's Legacy series for me to finish. There were so many books in the O'Malley Saga and this spin-off series that I think I will miss reading about this family as I am now completely done.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1919 comments Laurla,

Thanks I finished Savor the Danger (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #3) by Lori Foster A Perfect Storm (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #4) by Lori Foster What Chris Wants (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #4.5) by Lori Foster .

I really enjoyed Savor the Danger and A Perfect Storm. I thought Savor the Danger had a lot more humor then the other books in the series and I really liked the hero. It was my favorite in the series. I also really enjoyed A Perfect Storm as well. What Chris Wants was a bit disappointing. If you are going to do M/M you can't just fade out for the sex scenes - after all she doesn't do that in any of her other books.

Chelle_Rydz (chellerydz) | 621 comments I read Blood Brothers (The Order of the Sanguines, #1.5) by James Rollins (Finished October 30th) the other day. I liked it. It is a set up for the next book, Innocent Blood (The Order of the Sanguines, #2) by James Rollins , which I will start for my November FWYS challenge. Right now I'm reading the new Kay Hooperbook Fear the Dark (Bishop/Special Crimes Unit #16) by Kay Hooper . I LOVE the Bishop books by her. When I finish this one (that just came out) I will be caught up on that series.
