Open Nominations for October--Theme: Time

Hey all, let's revive ourselves a little bit now that the Autumn is approaching. I'd like us to pick a book for October, then one book each month after that.

Looking for nominations for October--books that involve time in some significant way. Could be the nature of time, a story told across generations, time travel, etc.

I'm still definitely planning to read Boat of a Million years in late October - November, so I'm going to stick with that one :)

Also, I have already read Cloud Atlas and would love to join the discussion on that.
