Are ACE's something I should just create, leaving off the ISBN? Or is it something I should still run by a Librarian?

I have a copy of Graham Greene's Collected Essays, published by the Viking Press in 1959, Hardcover and 463 pages. There is no ISBN number on the copyright page, but on the back cover of the dust jacket, there is an SBN -- 670-2270-4. I think it belongs here:

Hello Michael--That copy of Greene's collected essays should have been 1969 rather than 1959. I just double-checked the copyright page. It may very well have been published in the same format all the way to 1983, I don't know. I have quite a few books that were published just at the time ISBN's were coming out--a lot of them have SBN's with only 8 numbers. I notice that when the book rec'd an ISBN, a lot of times zeroes were added to fill it out to the full ten.
