I read Small Steps, by Keg Kehret. This book is about a girl named Peg who feels her leg tighten doing Choir, she then falls in the hallway. She goes home and gets really sick. Peg's mom takes her to the doctor and she finds out she has polio. In this book you follow Peg's story of Polio. From hospital to hospital. I loved this book so much. It really shows you how hard Polio was to fight. It was a amazing autobiography, and I definitely recommend it! I really enjoyed reading Peg's story!
