This is one of my favorite books. I've read it several times and I always get something more from it. Harper Lee beautifully images the times and atmosphere.

I listened to "To Kill a Mockingbird" being read by Sissy Spacek, who did a fabulous job. It had such a lovely impact in the auditory format that I resolved to listen to more books. It's very clear to me why this book is so revered by so many. So full of growth and growing up and learning about life and gaining compassion after learning that life isn't fair or just or right sometimes. I left the book with my heart full.
